Unprofessional
August 26, 2021Communication with them, whether office staff or corporate, is like communicating with a brick wall: there is no communication. The staff are unprofessional and have little to no knowledge about anything in the office. The complex is unsafe, but that didn’t seem to be prior to them. Myself, as well s as others I know, have been charged false fees after move out, and those fees were never communicated to us for the issue to be resolved.Review from Apartments.com
It gets the job done
August 25, 2021To our surprise these apartments ended being better than we expected. It became our home. Our maintenance was always so helpful, they always fixed everything fast. The pool is always open and clean which isn't common most places. We loved the free gym membership. There was a few issues with noise at time but what else can you expect from a place full of college kids. It was never too bad to keep us up or anything like that. Never had a problem with bugs or animals of any kind. Our neighbors were ...friendly, a little crazy but nice and kept to themselves. There is trash from time to time but the guys are always trying hard to pick it up ASAP. It is old and poorly repainted, etc but it does the job and with some decor its not even noticeable. Great Location, I will never get enough of it!! You get your moneys worth if not more because I've heard of other people not get AC fixed within months or their amenities aren't even usable. TERRIBLE
July 24, 2020The bugs are so bad here you can barely eat in peace without a bug nearby. Gnats are ALWAYS in my apartment in the summertime, which I've heard is a problem in a few apartments. Gross. The ROACHES are horrific! Then they don't have real trash service. Just dumpsters in the very back of the units , so inconvenient. But steady increasing the rent. Good for the Money, but be Careful
May 7, 2020I lived at this apartment for 5 years, and as a college apartment it does the job. The staff is wonderful, the maintenance is prompt, and the price is affordable. I would advise anyone with intent to move here Google the apartment name with the "News" tags selected and read up on headlines of what has occurred over the past few years though. Efforts have been made to make the apartments safer at night, but it hasn't helped much. Also, if a unit above or beside you has a Pot smoker, the smell ...will reach you. HORRIBLE AND SCARY
May 22, 2018A car was completely shot up outside my bedroom window with everything stolen out of it. It was so common to hear gunshots almost every single night. I would be woken up at night with police lights in my window. They took my deposit and won’t tell me exactly what the charges were for, even though I meticulously cleaned the apartment when i moved out. The apartments are old, the carpet was stained, cockroaches were everywhere, you can hear your neighbors conversations through the walls, the staff ...are RUDE and never want to help you. October 11, 2016Please do not move to this roach infested mess of an apartment. These are the biggest roaches I have ever seen and whatever they spray does not kill them. I also had an issue where there was mold in the apartment comong from the old windows and all the maintenance man did was wipe it with mean green and paint over the spot. Some of the "large" apartments does not have a real laundry room so your washer might be in a closet and a dryer in your bedroom. There is not a vent for the dryer and so your ...apartment will be hot while trying to dry your clothes. This has been one of the worse set of staff that I have ever had to deal with in my life. The Overlook
August 24, 2015I've lived here a few months and I haven't had many issues. I've only needed maintenance a few times and they have always been very good about getting to me the same day or following day. The main complaint I have is that there are only dumpsters in the back of the complex which can be rather inconvenient. People also tend to speed and blast music. But it's less than $500 a month for me which includes rent and water so I can't complain much.
