Huntsville is served by multiple United States Highways, including Routes 231, 431, and 72. The Interstate Highway, I-565, connects the cities of Decatur and Huntsville to the I-65 Highway. The traffic around town is generally not too bad, although it is fairly congested when construction is taking place to improve the roads.

September is the time for the Annual International Festival of North Alabama and the Big Spring Jam, and Con†Stellation is a science fiction convention that takes place every October."

The cities of Birmingham, Dauphin Island, Gadsden, and Montgomery all have a lot to offer, and there are great locations in Alabama such as McFarland Park, Burritt on the Mountain, Noccalula Falls Park, and more.
