Great Place
August 16, 2023We love living here, it is quiet, seems safe, tucked away, and the amenities are amazing! Having 2 pools available for use is awesome, the maintenance staff are prompt and super friendly. Everyone including neighbors are friendly, and we truly feel apart of a great community here. The buildings are older, however, with the renovations it really brings the place to life and looks great. Landscaping is always well kept, the lake is also an awesome feature! stay away!!!!
April 15, 2023The buildings are old and you can hear EVERYTHING your neighbor does. They just repainted over everything on the outside of each building but it’s already peeling. Like putting lipstick on a pig. Neighbors are rude. Dog crap everywhere. The inside renovations look nice but my rent went up over $300 a month with this last lease renewal. Great location, well kept grounds

Best apartment life on the water you can ask for
March 11, 2020Hidden lakes offers a quite, spacious costal life style you cant find in any other apartment complex. Waking up on the weekends to drink coffee on the patio listening to the seagulls and watching the pelicans do a little morning fishing is a perfect way to start your day. The management and staff maintain a friendly and kind relationship with all tenants, while providing the highest level of professionalism in every service aspect. Believe me I have lived here for 10 years. It's a wonderful ...place to raise a family with the spacious complex grounds you dont feel as if you live in an apartment complex. Also a very pet friendly complex. Not worth the rent
January 4, 2019I have lived here almost a year and regret not looking at the place before applying online, but rent was scarce in my budget range when looking & because of Hurricane Harvey victims renting because of damage to their homes. As I drove down Henderson the buildings are very old and need power washing desperately. The parking lot is trash (which has been fixed since) but a complete eyesore. The location and pool are the only nice things about this complex. I have a 2 bed 2 bath and I am on the first ...floor. My electricity bill has not been under $125 for this entire lease and in the summer it reached $300... mind you the apt is around 900 sq ft and I pay roughly 10 cents per KWH. I can hear literally everything my upstairs neighbors do; Walking around, phone vibrating, bed squeaks and not to mention children running around like elephants at the oddest hours (midnight). The carpeted flooring is cheap and feels like they do not add any padding. I received my renewal notice and for what they are charging, I can lease a newer apartment home for the same if not a few dollars more.Property Manager Responded

February 3, 2016Pros: Great location Nice lake views Fishing Pool and Spa Cons: Ant infestation (very bad) Cigarette smoke smell in apartment (could not get rid of it) Management on the rude side. Very picky about furniture on the patio water stinks Overall, it's a "decent" apartment complex but I WOULD NOT recommend it based on my own personal experience. Best place to live!
August 14, 2015Ive never lived in a better apartment complex. The neighbor are nice, the location is prime. I would recommend getting a water view though, as that tends to make every complaint you've ever had in your whole day go away. The staff is honest and punctual. Also, the porches are HUGE. Great for entertaining or just relaxing. And ducks. There are alot of ducks, which is like free entertainment.
