Do not rent
March 22, 2023False advertising. This place is nothing what they said it was going to be. Appliances never work and maintenance doesn’t come to fix it. Poor management. Crime is ridiculous. Police on site just about every night. Not worth it.Property Manager Responded

September 1, 2019Some of these comments smh, people need to be realistic. I’ve lived here 2 years, I’m about to renew for another year. Great prices, you get what you pay for and I have no complaints on getting a good deal on rent okay! Location is amazing you’re right off 45. I’ve never had any issues with staff or maintenance. Everyone has always been friendly to me. I’ve seen staff outside of the office and they always speak to me and my 2 boys. But how about the city of Houston step up and do their part in ...our community, the issues I’m reading should be takin care of by the City...just sayin step it up Houston.Property Manager Responded

Horrible experience
June 18, 2019This place was horrible!!!! 1st week I was there the ac went out. Ac then went out a 2nd time. My truck got broken into that same month I just moved in. Then found out my apartment was infested with rats. Rats were eating my food and bringing in some type of bugs into the apartment as I was gitten bit up bad all over me. June 19, 2019Thank you for your feedback. We are a gated community however, it does not prevent crime in Houston, Texas. We have company that patrols and 6 Police Officers that do patrols. We can only do our best to deter any crime, as always, we recommend that you call 911 and then contact the office in the event of any crime being committed. We offer weekly pest control and are always happy to accommodate any resident with rodent issues or any other pest control concerns. Your feedback is appreciated and will be investigated. July 8, 2019We do have 24 hour emergency maintenance for situations like the one that you had. We also have weekly pest control service when requested by the resident. Although we can not ensure your safety, we have Police officers, cameras and a security company that do patrols. Unfortunately, we can protect each and everyone at The Redford nor their belongings however we do try to prevent as much as possible. We always encourage in the event of an emergency, call 911 and then the office for any police related matters.

Toilet has been clogged for 3 days
October 30, 2018I have lived here for 3 years and have never had issues until new management moves in... they charged us 100$ more JUST to caddy corner the trash cans — our AC broke, out a work order in and nobody fixed it. So now our electric bill is stupid high. Our toilet has literally been clogged for 3 days straight and apparently everyone wants to be out to lunch and nobody wants to answer the phones. I am pregnant so bathroom and especially cleanliness is critical. I would never recommend this place. The ...prices are outrages for the location (Edgebrook) come on.. i don’t usually complain but wow I have never received such horrible service in my life.Property Manager Responded
November 7, 2018We strive to make The Redford a great place to live for everybody. We appreciate all reviews in helping us to improve. We have 24 hour emergency maintenance for all emergencies. If the office is closed for the day or we are unable to answering the phone because of assisting other residents, there are prompts that will lead you to the maintenance department. We do not close for lunch on any day so we are assisting all new and old residents on Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, Saturday from 10:00am - 5:00 pm and Sunday 1:00pm - 5:00 pm.We are open seven days per week to provide excellent service to all of our residents regardless of their work schedules. We also have available for resident convenience, an online portal that will put work orders straight into the system. All residents have 24 hour access to the resident portal. This makes it more convenient for the resident to place work orders, pay rent, reviews or just a friendly email. Thank you for your review and the constant ...feedback. The Redford Management.

June 6, 2019Thank you for your review. We strive to make The Redford a nice place for every resident. Maintaining patios and balconies is one of the major things that make the community look clean. Policies and procedure are in place for all our residents. Lease violations are never pleasant however they are a must if a resident is in violation. We have 24 hours maintenance and a resident portal available for access to submit workorders, pay rent, leave reviews and many other exciting options. Clogged toilets are an emergency unless you have two toilets and then it will be done the following morning. We will strive to do our best on working on solutions to improve anywhere that is needed and your feedback is important. Thank you again for your review. We feel that our prices are competitive with the competitors and we offer many immunities that others do not.

Security Issues
July 13, 2017The apartments have security that do not even patrol. They stay parked in front of the leasing office and watch people come into the apartments but do not patrol. My mother's car has been broken into twice. One prior to security; it was a poor working car but got us places. Apartments did absolutely nothing to help. The second time was this past week and I did not even see any security there. In the morning, the car had its glove compartments open and the trunk had things moved around. There are ...always sketchy people hanging out around the cars. And security does not nothing to check or anything.Property Manager Responded

Perfect for first timers

Great Location and Affordable! You cant beat it!
September 15, 2015The Redford apartments are located in the center of Houston. I am able to shop at the Shopping Center right off I-45 and Almeda and enjoy a nice lunch at one of the many fine restaurants. The staff is believe it or not very helpful and curious. I love the fact that they have a 24 Hour gym! Parking is Great! I've always had a place to park since I've been staying there. The apartments sizes are pretty large with plenty of storage. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a great ...active location for an awesome price.Property Manager Responded

September 4, 2015I have been living here for 4 years now and I used to like it alot. Very calm (in my section) security was omay.. never really had any problems with the apartment. Transfered to a 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bath. Just because it was almost the same rent as a 1 bedroom and I do have a toddler. What I didn't like was that 4 months ago my husbands car was stolen from here!!!!! Those security people sucked they usually passed every night. Anyway new management is good. They are renovating and apartments are looking nicer except TOO expensive now.
