September 30, 2019I have lived here for the past 16 months with my wife and have enjoyed it. We're only moving out because of a deployment. All the appliances are new. The apartment is well lit from front and back. The shades are amazing and block out all light which allows us to sleep well during the day when we work nights. The single-car garage space is really nice. We looked around and didn't find anything in the area offering a similar attached garage layout anywhere close to the price. At the nearby ...apartment complexes you pay extra for a covered space and an arm and leg for a detached garage. I think one of the best things about Residences of Hershey is that you are just across the street from the trail to the hospital that also runs all the way through Shank Park. In the spring and fall I regularly bike to work. It takes me about the same time to bike as to drive, find parking, and walk from the parking lot. Behind the apartment is another trail that takes you to Gelder Park and the adjacent neighborhoods. Perfect if you like to run. Tom and Julie are very responsive landlords with any issues being addressed immediately. We also really like our neighbors who are mostly students, residents, nurses, and other med center people.
