Roaches and maintence is very lackluster

I had about a roach per week staying here and tons of issues with stuff breaking/leaking. I had to fix the AC myself(low refrigerant) because they said a/c running 24/7 was 'normal', it was set to 74 and it ran all through the night also. had so many toilet issues and plumbing leaks and they would always put a band-aid on it.

Decent looking property, disappointing management. I experienced unprofessional behavior, inconsistent information, and repeated deflection when seeking answers about my application. Communication was poor from start to finish. Would not recommend.

I've lived here for almost a year. Its pretty quiet for the most part. The office is helpful in person not so much on the phone they dont answer. Lots of spiders and water bugs. Love the new paint outside the building. Definitely might reconsider resigning my lease.

Living at Arium Lake Johnson has been a positive experience overall. The location is one of the biggest perks — close to downtown Raleigh, shopping, and major highways, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful. The lake and walking trails nearby make it easy to get outdoors and enjoy nature. My apartment itself is spacious with modern finishes, and I really appreciate the open floor plan and large windows that bring in natural light. Maintenance requests have been handled in a reasonable time, and ...
the staff is friendly when I stop by the office. Parking is generally easy to find, which is a plus. Like anywhere, there are occasional hiccups, but I’ve found this community to be safe, convenient, and comfortable. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a well-located apartment with nice amenities.

The retreat at lake Johnson is a chill apartment community with great amenities and easy access to all the places you need to get to. The vibe is very much “summer camp” with all the buildings nestled in the woods and plenty of space to roam.
The apartment itself is spacious enough and comfortable and kept in good shape, even though the buildings are a bit older.

Move-in day was seamless. Communication prior with staff was a bit trying. Overall it wasn’t a bad experience. You just will need to be persistent and stay on top of the things that concern you during the move process.
