January 22, 2026I’m new to The Rice and am really enjoying the community. The neighborhood is lovely and there’s plenty within walking distance including food and entertainment. For the price being charged, the experience should include attentive management, timely maintenance, and a higher standard of service overall. One Year and Counting
November 12, 2025The Rice was build in 1913, when it was completed it was the tallest building in Houston. You can feel the history living here today. I have exposed brick and 100 year old wood floors, and a blue steel girder erupt from my floor to hold up the building. Outside my windows I look out over the Houston skyline and mainstreet. I see the murals of the kid on the bicycle and the witchy woman.Review from Apartments.com

July 28, 2025while i love the charm and historic relevance of this apartment. the garage is genuinely awful. not to mention the pool is gross and we should definitely have some kind of regular pool outside. aside from that, if you’re going to make everyone get the same wifi, you should make sure it doesn’t buffer and act up.Property Manager Responded
