    Highly do not recommend. ?? 1 Star – Do NOT Live Here The Sawyer Providence Farm is completely mismanaged. • 13 days without a working washing machine after reporting the issue on December 30th • Maintenance marked it “resolved” twice when it wasn’t — the noise was extreme and a fire hazard • Mildew grew on my clothes while waiting for a fix • The “temporary solution” was to carry my laundry to another building • Emails were ignored; only template responses were sent • Management waited nearly ...
    two weeks to provide regional property manager contact information • No rent credit was offered despite damage, inconvenience, and safety concerns • Management claimed no videos were submitted documenting the issue, despite residents being explicitly instructed to submit all documentation through the resident portal • The portal does document uploads, and videos were uploaded and time-stamped — screenshots confirm this • Management then relied on the alleged “absence” of these videos to dismiss the severity and duration of the issue, which contradicts their own process Additional serious issues: • The property was advertised and presented as gated, then suddenly no longer gated two months later • Fire alarm noise has been going off since November (photo attached) with no resolution • The washer/dryer was labeled “oversized” after move-in, and the appliances were later downsized without notice • Maintenance entered my apartment without proper notice • Mildew-contaminated clothes were removed and mixed with clean clothes without permission • My apartment door was left unlocked all day, creating a major safety risk Management is unresponsive, dismissive, and careless with resident safety, documentation, and personal property. Because onsite management ignored emails and refused to provide escalation contacts, I was forced to publicly request the name and contact information for the regional property manager. This lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable. Avoid this property if you value communication, safety, or basic living standards.     We have lived here 1.5 years. Pros: - Location, location, location it’s a great plaza neighborhood to live in and near - The beauty & design of the apt - The grounds are beautiful & well kept Cons: -Safety: 2/5 stars (would not recommend for small children or single occupants) -this is the only place we’ve ever experienced a physical break in (we where home) - 3 significant large water leaks - NOT gated (loads of illegal street racing from midnight to 3 am) it’s very loud - there is a moving ...
    truck here (without legal tags) on it every 3 days all year long - loads of packages shipped TO other states end up here - building access security system is often offline and unFunctional - a previous tenant shipped his personal medicine to our apartment for 6 months multiple times a month and would randomly show up and want it - our mail was broken into twice -one of our roommates needs wheelchair access to our building and has a very hard time entering the building

    With the exception of the office manager, the staff are unprofessional and incompetent. GreyStar removed the security gates at all entrances, so there is zero security now and the traffic through the community has increased making it noisy and loud. They began a renovation project in all the buildings, but because no one supervised it, half way through, the project was stopped because the wrong flooring was installed, so most of the buildings remain only half renovated. Sometimes the building ...
    doors break meaning they no longer lock, leaving the buildings unsecured and it can take weeks before they are fixed. Finally, the construction is such that there is no sound proofing, so everyone complains about hearing their neighbors above and below them.

Regarding the removal of the gates, we want to clarify that this decision was based on updated city requirements and code enforcement regulations. We did everything we could to keep them in place, but ultimately we were required to remove them to remain in compliance. We know this change has been frustrating but we hope the installation of five additional speedbumps throughout the community has helped decrease some of this traffic and noise. We also appreciate your comments about the hallway renovation project. The work has been fully overseen by our construction team from the start; however, once the originally planned flooring was installed, it became clear that due to the type of subfloor and the layout of the hallways, that flooring would not perform as intended. To ensure durability and long-term quality, we ...
      made the decision to switch to a more suitable flooring product. Paint and lighting upgrades have already been completed throughout the community, and the new flooring has been fully installed in several buildings, with the remaining buildings scheduled once the materials arrive. For building entry doors, we understand how important controlled access is and while we work closely with our vendors to complete repairs as quickly as possible, we are reviewing response times to ensure improvements are made where needed.     I have had a great experience since moving into the Sawyer! They are professional, consistent in communications and always kind. We did have a few hiccups setting up our move in, and have still have issues logging into our portals and setting up the associated software's (ButterflyFX, etc) but they are receptive to helping!
