Poor customer service and inflexible policies.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this apartment community. I was seriously considering moving in and completed the application process, but I found the leasing team to be inflexible and unwilling to work with prospective residents when unexpected circumstances arose.
Despite communicating issues that affected my ability to move forward, I was told that both the application fee and administrative fee were non-refundable. While those policies may be in the lease terms, there was ...
no effort to provide alternative solutions or demonstrate any understanding of the situation.
The overall process made the leasing office seem limited in its ability to assist applicants and lacking the resources or authority to address concerns on a case-by-case basis. As someone trying to coordinate a move while balancing work and family responsibilities, I expected better customer service and a more resident-focused approach.
Based on my experience, I decided not to move forward with this community. I would encourage prospective residents to carefully review all fees and policies before applying, as there appears to be very little flexibility once the application has been submitted.
Pros: Property appears nice.
Cons: Poor customer service, inflexible policies, and limited support for prospective tenants.
