BEWARE GARAGE PARKING

Request to test entering and exiting the garage before making any decision to stay here. Of the cars in the garage during my time at The Woodlands, 3-4 of the 6-7 that can fit in their garage space were damaged just getting in. The garage is half underground and you are led to it by a side path. The issue is that the side path is extremely narrow (large trucks&suvs have about 3-4 in of clearance on either side) and there is a rather small space at the end for you to actually turn/maneuver once ...

you've cleared the narrow path. Everyone gets matching scrapes on the corner of the bumper where drivers cant see over their hoods to tell whether they are actually clearing the side wall when turning to exit the garage and go up the path. The only way to be sure you wont scrape, is to hit a 3-5 point turn after leaving the garage to make sure your vehicle is perfectly aligned with the 4 inches of clearance you get... Unfortunately the small space at the garage entrance even makes this a process. Oh and & good luck backing up if youre the unlucky soul who happens to be leaving when someone is entering... Bottom line, parking is worse than a nightmare and negates a lot of the positives about this place. Don't choose a garage spot unless you've got a beater, money to blow, or a smart car.

We are sorry you had trouble with your parking. Please be advised, parking is an optional addition to your lease agreement which is in no way mandatory, and can be cancelled at any time. We also offer surface lot parking for those with larger cars, as these are vintage buildings, and those areas were not originally built for large SUVs/trucks.

What you see is not what you get. There are no fitness room and maintenance is NOT on site. Inside of building is poorly maintained and usually dirty. Don’t be fooled. Worst apartment management in Shaker

Thank you for the feedback. The fitness room is located in the building above the leasing office, and we do have 3 maintenance workers that do live in our buildings here in Shaker Square. With the construction outside and extra cleanings necessary, we have been trying our best to keep up with daily cleanings. We strive to create a clean and safe environment for all of our tenants!
