Pros and cons

Pros: beautiful apartments that are large with lofted ceilings. Victor who is the handyman/front door man on site daily is AMAZING. He is always available to help with anything and everything and was always extremely polite to tenants. Location location! Right between center City, China town, and old city. Subway is right underneath the building. Packages delivered to door. Gym on site Cons: the management office is pretty horrible. Communication throughout our lease was often non existent ...
and when we did have problems, Debbie and Luz in the office were often pretty rude, always yelling and interrupting me when I called, or ignoring emails. The last month I lived there, the AC was broken which resulted in an extremely high electric bill. They wouldn't pay to fix the ac until it leaked into my unit. Who waits for the damage to occur before they will fix it? Makes no sense. The only good thing I will say about them is they're one of the rare landlords who gave me back most of my security deposit. There is also a lot of homeless people outside the building who will harass you all day. I like to help but you can't help everyone all the time so it can become cumbersome. Parking around the building is tough.
