Just moved into Thurman a week ago. So far I’ve had to switch apartments, because the original wasn’t ready, a bathtub spout fly across the room because its sole method of attachment was a little bit of caulk, a backed up sink drain that was fixed by snaking it onto one of my towels that I had to throw away…but most annoying and unacceptable is the refrigerator that they put in my apartment like it’s acceptable for use by anyone.
This fridge has 47 dents in it, I counted them. I’ve talked to the ...
manager in person about this fridge, I’ve talked to 2 leasing agents, and I’ve sent a minimum of 6 messages/ emails about it. They don’t care, I was told nearly 50 dents in an appliance is “just cosmetic” and the vibe is like- I should just be grateful that bath spouts aren’t turning into projectiles anymore. I have received exactly zero follow up about this refrigerator from all the calls and messages.
So, just know…as of AUGUST 2026, this beautiful refrigerator that looks like it was purchased for $7 at a yard sale and then fell off the back of a truck, could be yours for the low price of two thousand and something dollars. Don’t get me started on the state of garbage and embarrassment that is the pool furniture.
I came here knowing the neighborhood is rough, what I did not know is that the “roughness” would carry over into my apartment. Exceptionally disappointing thus far.
