worst experience--and it won't end
November 21, 2025I haven't left a review before now, but things just keep coming back up. Between no communication, not being able to find people because offices kept moving, people entering without permission, and not consistent maintenance solutions, it was the worst experience I've had with a rental company. We had an entire month without a working washer or dryer. Instead of telling us what was being done, they gave us a key to an empty unit a few hallways away. So for the month of January we were carrying ...dirty clothes back and forth from an empty unit even though units were supposed to come with functioning appliances. And when maintenance was coming in, they didn't always wait for permission to enter. Instead just randomly showing up and leaving no communication except for a message in the online portal saying it was fixed. But there wasn't usually evidence of anything being done The randomly making us pay for parking was one of the last straws. There was no shortage of parking. We were already paying a substantial amount for rent. What was the purpose of trying get more money? By increasing our rent another $100, it was just annoying and frustrating in general. The most recent issues came when I had mail that wasn't forwarded correctly. I reached out to the main office and heard nothing. After going into the office, I found out they couldn't just knock on the door and ask. The new tenet wasn't returning their calls, but I don't know if I believe they really called. I finally just knocked on the door and she gave me the mail. Then months later, I get a random message saying they have had mail for me for a long time and if they didn't hear from me THAT DAY they would return to sender. I was not able to call until after the office closed for the day, so my mail was returned. I have no idea what it was. I got 1 notification day of returning to sender. Overall I found all the office staff unprofessional and not able to answer any of my questions without asking someone else. I'm so glad to have gotten out of Quarry trails and wouldn't recommend the rental company to anyone.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Save yourself from surprise fees ($50-100 for a surface lot with numerous break ins??)
November 25, 2024I am torn with this review because I have loved living in this community for the past year and a half. I have even been understanding of the mishaps that come with a community that is still in development, including amenities that have still not opened (such as the gym that was promised to open almost a year ago). That changed when they implemented a new parking “policy” in which residents will now have to pay a monthly fee of $100 for an uncovered “reserved” parking space or $50 for an ...uncovered “unreserved” parking space in a surface lot (that has never been full so there is no reason to pay for parking). A surface lot where, just over a month ago, numerous cars where broken into. The response to this event was to send an email that there would be increased security presence in our parking lot… which has never happened. Every time I look into the parking lot there is no security. These spots have been free to residents for the past year and a half. This drastic change has left a sour taste in my mouth considering NOTHING has changed in that time. There have been no improvements and no added security. How is a spot that was formerly free now worth $50-100?! In addition to the fees we will have to pay to park our own vehicles, if we have guests that come to visit us, they will also be required to pay for parking. I had tried to resolve this issue privately by emailing the property directly with these concerns and the response I received was that they cannot change the fee but want to make sure that my concerns are heard. I will gladly make sure my concerns are heard, and will now do so publicly. I have never left a negative review in my life and hoped to never do so, but they have certainly earned the honor of being my first negative review. There is absolutely no reason for these fees, other than greed. Save yourself from these fees, and look elsewhere for your next apartment.Property Manager Responded

Money Grabbing Thieves
November 5, 2024I moved in back in MAY2024 after returning from an overseas deployment. I needed a place to live very quickly so I signed at the Tillmore at Quarry Trails because it seemed clean, safe, and not too out of my price range. Boy was I wrong. Approximately 6 months into my lease, Thrive Properties decided they would all of a sudden charge everybody for parking. This would make sense if there was a shortage or we had issues with parking but that is not the case. I counted at least 75-100 open parking ...spots on a weeknight at 11PM. This was simply a dishonest money grab. Parking rates are $50 for unassigned spots and $100 for assigned spots. Add that in to the overpriced, small spaces, and this is not a good deal. If you want to avoid low-life Real Estate Developers from nickel and diming you, I highly suggest renting somewhere else.Property Manager Responded

Worst experience I’ve had with any company
November 5, 2024Smart home locks consistently malfunction. The staff conveniently omit important information during tours, or provide misleading information. The businesses, including the gym, won’t open until 2025 at the earliest (this has been delayed numerous times and will likely continue to be delayed). Property lacks amenities for the price. Now they’re introducing parking charges of $50/per vehicle per month to park in a mostly empty, uncovered lot that was made for the apartments. Community manager isn’t ...responsive. This isn’t a comprehensive review: I could list numerous additional issues.Property Manager Responded

February 22, 2024I stayed here since this place was opened and other than the great location, this complex was somewhat inconvenient to live at. Beyond the constant loud construction in the complex, the keypad on our apartment door(and many others doors) stopped working 10+ times throughout our 12 months here. Additionally, during the summer months, it is virtually impossible to stop the gnats from roaming indoors, we purchased 5 UV light gnat catchers, which barely helped us from swatting gnats indoors ...everyday. Another notable issue we had was the grass outside turning to mud/dirt very quickly no matter what season it was, that mixed with dog poop not being picked up, made it very tough to keep our dog clean before taking her back inside. Lastly, this complex uses an outdated handwritten 60 day notice method to start moving out of the apartment, this made things very tough for us as busy as we are. The complex also does not offer any room when it comes to that, strictly handwritten notice from what we’ve been told. We bought a house and notified them a week or so before we got our handwritten notice in, and the best advice they could offer was “we only accept handwritten notices”. So now we will be paying for this apartment when we are well moved out and paying a mortgage. I recommend this place if you can deal with having gnat issues, cleanliness issues for pets and know exactly the day and time you will be moving out. On the bright side, there will be a playa bowls in the complex, whenever this tenuous construction project finishes.Property Manager Responded

Quarry Trail is Great!
February 27, 2023Between three pools, the dog park, the Starbucks coffee station, the gym, and the shuttle, QT has everything you could want as a college student. The office does a ton of fun resident events and giveaways, which really gives it a good community vibe! Maintenance is speedy and communicative. I love it here.Property Manager Responded
