Overpriced
November 11, 2022This apartment complex is the worst. They don't work with you at all if you have any issues. The halls are dirty people don't pick up after their dogs. You pay for everything including parking. These are not luxury apartments at all. Every week some one moves out it's so bad they can make money by renting U-Haul's to people.Review from Apartments.com
Do not rent from this company
August 17, 2021Property is filthy & the office employees are terrible and offer you very little help. They charge for parking spots per month, then they have a parking company that charges 30.00 to renew a sticker needed for the window(this charge used to be covered until 2021 without notice). Need a lot of help
October 3, 2020It’s a quiet, decent community. When it comes to repairs they could use a lot of help. My family has been sitting at home with a clogged sink for 4 days, and even after a call to the office, no one has showed up to repair it. Don’t be a day late on rent though. They’re all over that. Will not be renewing my lease
September 28, 20202 parking spots come with a unit. Although you have to pay a $30 registration per sticker. So $60 minimum for 2 cars. Oh and they never check for stickers. On site security does not ever check. I see cars all the time that are parked for multiple days without a valid sticker. Also people do not pick up after their pets. There's hardly any parking available in the evenings, so you have to park on the already crowded street or be forced to pay an extra $50 a month for a reserved parking spot which ...surprise surprise theres a $30 registration fee for the sticker. Counting down the days until I’m out!!
March 10, 2020Just a warning for anyone thinking of renting here at Toscana Rancho Del Rey. If it helps just one person it was worth the time to post this. These apartments have ZERO sound proofing. You will hear your neighbors TVs, music, phones, doors slamming shut, walking in and out of every room, and conversations just to name a few. That by itself is almost tolerable, but I moved into a first floor unit (which coincidentally I was charged more money for) and shortly after a family of 4 or 5 moved in ...above me. It has been an absolute nightmare and I'm only here 2 weeks a month because of work. It's like living under a construction zone. When my lease came up for renewal I was unable to leave the complex at that time and hoped it would get better. It did not. As a matter of fact it got worse. In addition to all the noises I mentioned above, the family above me stomps around all the time and bangs, drags, and drops stuff on the floors. My daughter can't even sit in her own bedroom and do her homework in the evenings. The only time we get any peace and quiet is when they are not home. Which, unfortunately isn't very often. I've asked the leasing office for help a total of 4 times now and have gotten zero results or resolution. Which is a shame. And in an act of defiance, the family has gotten louder. What's worse is when I move out (counting down the days) a new tenant totally unaware of what awaits them will have to endure the same horrible situation. Please don't let it be you. I wouldn't want anyone to be in this same situation. So in closing, if you absolutely must live at Toscana Rancho Del Rey, I HIGHLY encourage you to sign a lease on a top floor unit. You'll no doubt hear your neighbors and everything they do, but you won't be living in horrible conditions underneath them. ***Quick update: On March 4, 5, and 6 I left messages asking to speak to Denise the property manager about the on going problem. She never returned any of my calls. September 27, 2019el departamento que me rentaron desde que me cambie les comente que en el area de los banos se hacia moho y con el paso de los dias me di cuenta que a mi nieta le salia un salpullido en su cuerpo , lo cual me di a la tarea de llevar la a el medico y me dijo que lo que le estaba haciendo dano era la alfombra , les pedi que me cambiaran a un departamento sin alfombra lo cual fue negado, con el paso de los dias el medico me dio una carta en donde constaba que mi nieta estaba teniendo sierta reacción ...con la alfombra y entonces ellos decidieron dejarme ir. pero un mes despues me mandaron una carta diciendo que yo les devia al rededor de 1300 dlls que por que tubieron que cambiar la alfombra , no obstante hable con ellos y me dijeron que no me preocupara que les mandara la informacion correspondiente lo cual lo hice a tiempo y en forma . pero ellos solo estaban haciendo tiempo para mandarme a colleccion . laverdad estoy muy molesto con ellos por ser tan irresponsable. Horrible Maintenance

June 14, 2018I’ve lived at Toscana for over 6 months and parking awful. Spots are filled very quickly and when I wanted to purchase a carport, they wanted to send me to the other side of the complex. They love to tell you that it’s ok to park in the future residence spots but will quickly tow your vehicle without warning or notice even though cars are labeled and registered for that property. I understand places can’t be perfect but when management isn’t willing to try and make a good experience on top of ...this mess then it’s a distaster situationProperty Manager Responded

Do not move here
May 14, 2018This place sucks. The kids run around with no supervision swearing and talking back to adults who are asking them to stop. Police department is here a couple times a week. Loud cars, loud music. Never quiet here. Staff does not work with you.Property Manager Responded

November 28, 2017The most useless people work in this apartment complex. Sprinklers were hitting my car the entire year I live there with my assigned spot. The property manager was very rude when I suggested they pay for my car to get detailed. "I don't see how water can damage your car" is a direct quote from the property manager. En que decía que era remodelado y cuando me lo entregaron era mentira, alfombra sucia y vieja y aire acondicionado no servía mi hijo iba al gimnasio y.
