Manager and Maintenance Hassle
October 20, 2019Lived here for two years. However, ever since Ariel (past manager) left, it has been very disorganized. The new manager is not communicative and is rarely in the office during office hour. It is hard to reach the manager during office hours via phone or emails, which is very unprofessional. If she is sick or is running on an errand, it would be nice if she mass emailed the units like how Ariel did. Because of this, it is hard to pick up any packages. Some packages are left in the lobby ...unattended. In terms of maintenance, it takes at least two weeks to get something fixed whereas in the past when Ariel was working, it would be fixed that same day or within 2 days. This has been consistent ever since the new change in managers.Property Manager Responded
July 17, 2020Hello there! Thank you for your valuable feedback! Between on-boarding new staff and working with vendors around the building on exciting community projects, it is true that we were out of office numerous times a week with back-to-back appointments, and I sincerely apologize that we were difficult to reach as a result. Our team recognizes your concerns, and I am excited to announce a few policy changes that we've put in place to address them. First, we have been instructing couriers to deliver packages to our residents' doors. Any remaining packages that were left behind in the mail lobby will be delivered by staff daily around 4PM-5PM on days that our office is open. For maintenance, we've set up a new mobile app to help them facilitate communications and record their progress. Lastly, we have set up a new office mobile line at 206-261-5555 for residents and prospects to contact our office staff by text or calls, even if we are not in office to access the landline. I hope these ...changes help to better your experience at TraVigne, and please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly with any additional questions or concerns! Sincere Regards, TraVigne Team

All-around home.
December 19, 2016Grounds: The place fits in well with the prestigious-looking places surrounding, though not nearly as expensive. Garbage has its own small closed space within the garage. There's also a huge rooftop with two large grills and lots of furniture to hang out at. Safety: The building sits next to an Audi, so at night there is always a great deal of lighting in the front area. The front entrance area is secure with great lighting. There are also cameras around the area and in the garage. We have a ...policy of not letting people in unless you know they are a resident or staff member. I believe TraVigne also has strong anti-discrimination policies in place. Neighborhood: Close to the ave with lots of food and stores, as well as the weekly farmer's market. Next to a few bus routes that can take you to Northgate, Lake City Way, or through UW Campus. The apartment also is not that far away from several parks and public services like Planned Parenthood, YMCA, Food Bank, Seattle Public Library, and so on. It also sits between Safeway and Trader Joe's, both a few minutes away by walking. Staff & maintenance: The staff members here at TraVigne are one of the biggest factors that truly make this place a home for me and my partner. The maintenance people are very friendly. They respect the private spaces even when they request to take a look inside the unit for construction purposes. They are also fast to fix any issues like a broken vent or appliance. The previous manager (Ariel F) is a polite, welcoming, and friendly person, and their assistance has been pivotal to housing for myself and my roommates who are all struggling University Students. The current manager who I am more acquainted with (Ariel C) is also amazing and kind. Neither Ariel's have been cutthroat about any hiccups with payments or contract paperwork. Ariel (C) also respects the identities and lifestyles of the tenants. I am an openly queer, transgender woman of color, and my roommates are just as diverse. Ariel goes above and beyond when it comes to supporting my legal and social transitioning and my relationship with my partner. To be honest, it would be a hard adjustment to have a different manager and not be able to say hi to Ariel whenever I pass by her office when she is around.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Excellent
December 16, 2016I have lived here for 2 years. The building is well maintained and common areas are kept clean. Maintenance issues are taken care of quickly. The team is very responsive to any questions I have had and they are friendly and work hard to make this a great community. Location is great. The building is quiet, and tenants are friendly. I highly recommend.Review from Apartments.com
Good building considering the location
December 15, 2016Mgmt and staff - very friendly, helpful, quick to respond Safety - some issues with homeless and drug dealers; secure building, but residents allow non-residents in resulting in some theft Noise - is noisy; Fire Station #17 one block away, can hear lots of thumping and banging from other tennants, parties past "quiet hours" Smell - Often foul odor in hallway; frequent cigarette and marijuana lofting in from windows Convenience - Super convenient, everything you need within four blocks, busses ...to any/everywhere, 15-30 min walk to campusRead MoreReview from Apartments.com
