Better off living under a bridge!!!
February 27, 2018THE SINGLE WORST LIVING EXPERIENCE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.. HORRIBLE LYING MANAGER WHO LOST DOCUMENTS. FABRICATED DAMAGE TO APARTMENT AFTER MOVE OUT. WEEKLY HARASSMENT LETTERS UNDER THE DOOR. Do NOT live here unless your life depends on it!! (and even then. living in the woods under a tarp is better ) Worst experience of my life!! horrible evil office personal! lies and fabrications are to be expected! along with lost documents.... Constant harassment from ...staff! missing items from apartment!! Including my cat let out into the hallway. Maintenance staff denied being in apartment. (which is a lie. I knew they were in my apartment because the shower faucet handle was fixed. an older Iphone4 was missing from my desk. several items in cupboard had been shuffled around. paycheck stubs and other important documents that were left in office were never recorded. later Terri would claim I failed to report income. eventually I learned to send via email so there was a paper trail.. I could go on and on and on about how incompetent the office staff is.. but i already wasted a year of life there that I will never get back!!Property Manager Responded
March 22, 2018Your review of our Community is not an accurate portrayal. We have never been contacted by a resident that has reported any of these issues posted in your review. Our maintenance staff is at the top, if not the top, of maintenance staff in Traverse City & they keep our property operating as well as many newer properties. They would never enter an apartment without prior notification or permission. EVER. No one would rifle through anyone’s belongings nor ever steal from a resident. Losing an iPhone might be something you would report to our rental office or perhaps even a police officer. After 30 years of managing this property, I think it’s like a routine. If you bring in something, we copy, hand it right back to you & would never keep an original. If you were receiving notifications on a weekly basis, there must have been a situation that needed your attention. Also, if you objected to a charge after a move out, there is information at the bottom of the Itemized List of ...Damage you received that says “You must respond to this notice by mail within 7 (seven) days after receipt of same, otherwise you will forfeit the amount claimed for damages.” Also, there are photos of any damage charges, so I would be able to share those with you. Writing an anonymous review is something anyone can do, but we are reaching out to whomever you are to ask you to contact our office to discuss this matter. It appears that there may have been some misunderstandings during your stay at Tradewinds Terrace, and we are hoping you would like to resolve these issues the correct way.
