Built Cheap & Priced Luxury
April 28, 2025Pros: Location is great if you work in CLT or Rock Hill, crime is low except for car break ins, maintenance crew is super responsive, and the apartments are new/clean. Cons: Low-mid quality construction*, terrible (yet mandatory) trash valet, and no real action taken by landlord when needed. *The apartment buildings have little to no sound proofing, worse than university dorms; even the exterior stairwells amplify EVERY footstep like a subwoofer. But because 99% of residents here have main ...character syndrome with zero situational awareness, only 1% of us attempts to be quieter due to this. From the constant stomping/thumping/banging from neighbors to leaf blower marathons to marital bickering in the parking lot to the 50 dudes who rev their truck engines and peel out of the complex on the daily, there is NO peace.Property Manager Responded

Don't. Do. It.
September 11, 2024If youre new to the area, dont do it! If you want a timely response, dont expect to get it from the leasing office. Extremely high turnover of staff who are not responsive unless you stay on top of them. Need to go into the leasing office to drop off a cashier's check or get an update, dont expect anyone to be there to give you a response/proper notice. You will receive an email DAILY TO BE REMINDED that Tryon Farms is a smoke free policy and if policy is violated your lease could be terminated, ...with no further actions actually done! If you want to experience the pool at the top of pool season, dont expect for it to be opened until June or later. What i actually loved about my unit is all of the natural light and my balcony. No consistent programming or reoccuring community events to create a good living environment. The best "event" that happened was food truck- "drums vs flats" on a Friday night! That was the most active i saw the residents out and about. Nacho Business was the next food truck partnership, but never happened after it was supposed to be rescheduled. The pet amenities along with the numerous pet waste stations around the community and a dog park is a major plus for the fur babies.
