Excessive Moveout Charges

The apartment complex was beautiful and well maintained. I really enjoyed living here. However, upon move-out, Turing is excessive with move-out charges. I have never had issues with move-out charges in previous apartments and with the great reviews Turing has, I thought this place would be the least of my worries.
Minor surface level scuffs are used as an excuse to charge you for repainting the entire unit. Then they are “generous” to give you a prorated invoice that is still heavily inflated ...
based on the actual scuffs shown in the unit. The photo backup they provide is blurry and does not allow you to fully see what damage they are saying was in the unit. When asked for clearer photos, they do not have any - so it’s left up to interpretation. And of course, the large corporation has leverage against you, the resident. They partially lowered the damage costs only after I had to spend my time negotiating through multiple emails.
I will miss living here for the great amenities and cleanliness, but please be warned to take photo documentation of every inch of your apartment or else you will be seeing hundreds of dollars in touch-up fees upon move out. I was bummed that Lyon Living, a $100M+ revenue company chose to have a resident leave with a bad experience rather than lower their excessive fees by a couple hundred dollars.
