Something is Always Broken

I pay way too much money to live and park here just for the elevators to constantly be broken and gross. The gorgeous rooftop pool has barely been open and is now officially closed. No compensation for all water features at all Union locations being closed down. Such a rip off!

Now that my roommates and I have painstakingly cleaned the heck out of our apartment I like living here. However, since day one we've had nothing but issues. We moved into a pig stye of an apartment that we had to clean ourselves with no reimbursement or urgency from staff, had mold issues with the washing machine, mold in our vents, dishwasher problems, burnt on food in the oven and on the stove, and no matter how many times I swiffer, this floor is disgusting. We have practically had to beg the ...

The apartments are beautiful and I haven't had any issues! Everyone I've met who works here has been very friendly and helpful. It's in a great location. I don't have a car but it's an easy walk to campus. The roommates I was matched with are super nice. Everything is very new and clean. I have no complaints!

Living at Union on Elizabeth has provided me with an incredible opportunity to connect with other students I may not have meet otherwise. The pool is awesome, especially during the summer and I like being able to utilize the gym at any time day or night.

Just a train wreck

The staff made living here a living hell. The staff always seems disorganized and never gives us accurate information. The amenities seem to always be broken despite how much we pay for them. For example, one time, glass was broken in the pool, so the whole entire rooftop was shut down for a week or so when it could've taken a day or two to fix. Our dryer was broken and it took maintenance 6 weeks to even come look at it. Our ceiling has leaked twice, and the whole apartment complex flooded in ...
the winter. Every time there is an emergency evacuation, we are never updated by the staff on what happened or if it is safe to come back. It seems like we are constantly left in the dark. The office staff consistently treats us like children and continues to screw us over. It blows my mind how irresponsible this place is.

This apartment complex is the epitome of horrible. The only true positive is the proximity to CSU's campus and how close it is to the neighborhood King Soopers. When moving into this complex, I knew that there would be growing pains, especially since this was a brand new complex in the midst of a pandemic. to the rest of this complex... which is horribly disorganized. As I write this review, it is the end of November. I still do not have my mail key! Each time I ask the staff about it, the answer is simply "wait two weeks" (which I have been told since JULY! Hope you new residents don't have bills to pay!) In addition to that, my roommates have constantly had to resubmit forms because the staff loses them, and getting packages is just an inch short of an absolute nightmare. The staff here is disorganized and dismissive, and I have to ask multiple people the same question before I get an answer that even relatively makes sense. We are constantly asked to change our lease via addendums because they didn't do it right the first time. The parking garage is too small and people constantly race to the top, which has caused many near accidents in my car. There's also no guest parking, so be ready to inform your guests that they need to park in an uncovered, relatively unsafe parking lot next to the complex (which you can get towed for). The residents here have little to no regard for the cleanliness of the complex, so also be ready to see empty beer cans and trash bags piled to the ceiling in the garbage rooms. Basically, this complex is essentially an off campus, horribly overpriced dorm. The other matter that needs to be addressed is security. My roommates and I had a roommate move out, and we had an incident in which the police needed to get involved. This apartment complex was completely dismissive of this issue and the roommate still had access to our floor, and then informed us two days later that we would have a new roommate (that ALSO had roommate issues) will be moving into the empty bedroom. Doesn't seem like a huge issue until your scary past KNOWS where you live and obviously has no problem returning and adding a new person with their own issues. You'd be better off finding somewhere else at all costs.
