Disappointing experience
September 1, 2024I was a resident for 2 years and 6 months, and my experience with the management has been deeply disappointing. After moving out, I received a "Move out calculation" notice that deducted my entire security deposit of $2,276 and demanded an additional $724. The charges were excessive and unjust despite leaving the apartment in good condition and addressing concerns such as roach infestations that escalated after a neighboring unit underwent extensive repairs. When I tried to discuss these ...concerns with the management, they did not respond. Even after escalating the issue to the Better Business Bureau, the management failed to provide any response. As a long-term tenant who paid rent on time and adhered to all regulations, I expected fair treatment. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I strongly caution prospective tenants to consider this lack of responsiveness and fairness before choosing the Uptown Apartment as your next home. disgusting---dont do it
July 23, 2022RAT and ROACH infested and pest control doesn't do anything because its the entire buildings. they just keep moving in. kids in this neighborhood are horrible, running around unsupervised at all hours day and night breaking things and stealing, going in cars etc. this place is horrible. don't do it!! they always shut the water off with no notice just an email stating it is off?Review from Apartments.com
Can't please everyone
June 5, 2022Listen....I've been here for 3 yrs and what I can say after reading reviews are Pools are often open. Maybe not all 3 at once but they are open and I understand why they lock them its become all the community kids come here and trash the pools after they use them. So its to make sure there safe for 1 and #2 is to insure their not trashed when a paying resident wants to use them. In response 2 rat infection. 3 yrs I've been here i have NEVER seen a rat. Parking is horrible, apartments are big ...atleast my 1/1 is. Recently had me AC take a dive on a Sunday and 15 minutes after I submitted my repair form maintenance was knocking at my door. Monday was a holiday and Tuesday when I got home from work my ac was up and running. Its true we've had some office managers who were very unprofessional but Melissa and the other lady are much better than the last couple and I hope they stay. Look....the apartments are reasonably priced, we have night security, nobody hanging out on corners and everyone minds there business. So its not a bad place 2 live. The cons are lock your car doors.once again because we aren't in a gated community the neighborhood kids look for things 2 steal. #2. Pick the unit you'll be happy in. They say 3 pools but have none open
July 12, 2021It is hot and ALLL SUMMER they had the pools closed until like last week then they closed them again I don’t even think they wanted to open them they just didn’t think we knew the other side was open but now smh they closed that side so None of the 3 pools they advertise are openReview from Apartments.com
Rat infested
February 23, 2021Parking structure is horrible, the garbage set is set up to where you either carrying you trash all the way to the other side of the buildings or you drive it in or on your car and hope it doesn’t leak or fall off. Property manager is rude, staff is dismissive. Don’t believe the lady either she seem nice but she rocking you to sleep after you move they become nonexistent.Review from Apartments.com
