        Vela is an excellent building, conveniently located and reasonable rents. Staff is very professional and responsive. Leasing is easy to work with (thanks particularly to Josh, he was fantastic!). Very happy with my choice for a home.

        Garage Parking is close, but is shared with the public. Building is clean and staff is friendly. The gym is very small and the other amenities are just okay.

        Living in Vela on the park has been a great experience overall. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of downtown, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and everything Stamford has to offer. One of my favorite things about living here is the rooftop—the views are absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. It's a perfect spot to relax or entertain guests. That said, there are a few areas where the resident experience could be even better: Noise levels: The walls are quite thin, so ...
        sound from neighboring units can be heard easily at times. It’s not a major issue, but something to be aware of. Parking: Assigned parking spots are full, so residents often have to park anywhere between the 3rd and 6th floors of the city garage, which can be inconvenient. Additionally, guest parking is extremely limited—with only two designated spots that are usually occupied. Finding ways to expand or optimize both resident and guest parking would significantly improve the experience.

        In general, I have enjoyed my time here as a resident. The building is older and amenities are older. But the location is prime. The biggest downside is: the parking options are awful. Also, there are frequent false fire alarms.
