Wonderful starter apartments
May 19, 2025I moved here almost a year ago and have had nothing but a great experience. The service guys are so nice and helpful, they always smile and give my pup treats when they see us. The new management about a month ago has been a little less helpful than when I originally moved in, but nothing crazy major. Overall, a great quiet place and I’d recommend for anyone in college who couldn’t find/likes on campus housing.Property Manager Responded

June 28, 2024I have been living here for a year and I have loved my experience so far. Maintenance problems are fixed fast, communication in the community is open and informative via email, and Patty in the office has made my moving in and package delivery a five star experience. Not worth your $
February 28, 2023The worst management team, they never pick up their phones or they’ll have an attitude. Valet trash service is horrible. Valet trash is never on time to pick it up which leads to possums coming in around 10-11pm making a mess on all the floors. Everyone smokes weed and we have to deal with the smell. Also the apartments have outdated appliances and never fix the issues requested from the tenants. Loud noises and dirty exterior.Property Manager Responded

Excellent Place to live
July 19, 2018We lived in this apartment for 1.5 year and I never had any issues with anything. We lived in the first floor and never had any issues with noise from our neighbors. I observed that their staff have better people and customer service compared to the time that we first came in. They have improved a lot in a matter of 1 year. Also, this place is very military friendly and I definitely recommend going through RPP to get military discount. April 29, 2017I have lived at Verandah's for over two years and I cannot say enough great things about the maintenance staff! Whatever I need, they take care of it quickly and efficiently. Warning, not worth the heartache
March 17, 2017DO NOT LIVE HERE! Hardly luxury apartment homes! They may look decent on the outside but a complete nightmare once you move in! Everything about this place is basic and cheap! The AC units are all old and noisy. Our HVAC broke down 6 different times and was leaking on our belongings! There was also a mold problem. They are even too cheap to keep soap and toilet paper at the pool bathrooms. It took 2 weeks to patch up holes underneath the sink and bathroom drawer where roaches were crawling in. ...It took a month to install a weatherstrip underneath the front door, where both roaches and lizards were crawling in. You can put a million work orders in and call 20 different times, but it will make no difference with the response time. Also they did not supply me with a copy of my lease, and the electronic copy is only on the server for 120 days! Make sure you have a copy when you move in, because they will try to overextend your lease if you're already overpaying for the unit plus the units like yours are just not selling. They will pull a fast one on you like they did me, and extend it from an eleven month lease to a thirteen month lease. Also pointless to pay for valet trash because they show up extremely late on Sunday night; they don't even come until 8pm the rest of the week and by that time the raccoons get into it. Nice, high quality apartments
July 23, 2016I'm on the tail end of my lease and sad to be leaving this property. Everything has been fairly good here, and I can't really complain about noise or neighbors. Everyone's quite friendly. I enjoy the fact that you can use the pool late at night (if quiet) and the gym is open 24/7. The trash valet service is nice, just wish the recycling was pushed out more than once a week as they fill up quickly. The doggie doo stations are numerous, and the grassy areas are nicely maintained. Back to ...the pool - very nice year round, and love the newer furniture. Thankfully I had a garage, so I didn't have to worry about parking, but I think that's the only reason I didn't give this a 5 star is my friends have trouble finding spots. Construction is fairly decent on these buildings (although someone pointed out the windows - these won't survive a Cat 3 storm, that's for sure), I don't hear much from my neighbors above. Nothing has fallen apart, AC works fine, water heater nice and warm (and does well with refilling, have yet to have a shower go "cold"). Management and team have been great to work with - maintenance requests are typically fulfilled without much hesitation or questions, and while there was a management/staff turnover, things are just fine here. Great amenities, but bad management.
August 16, 2015The Verandahs of Brighton Bay Beautiful resort style pool that anyone can access including any rift raft that walks on the property. The gates are finally working after being open for months at a time. And we finally have gate openers that work after the first time they're pressed. The garbage valet is nice to have but then raccoons go through your trash and it isn't picked up, which defeats the purpose. Complaints to management about upstairs neighbors go unheard. I've come to the conclusion ...that our neighbors are all 7ft tall giants and it is in their nature to stomp, run and jump all throughout their apartment. That has to be the only reason they are still residing here after months of noise complaints.
