I am moving into my unit tomorrow 11/14/2022 and I can?t wait! The location is amazing! To be within walking distance of Beaverton Old Town?s shops and restaurants and the City Library and parks and post office. It really will be a great place to live? Exhausting and Infuriating

The PM company here changed in January, 2022. The old PM company was excellent. This new company is atrocious: The maintenance team consists of literally two people. One heroic woman who cleans every trash room, every hallway, and empties every trash can, all by herself. One extremely kind gentleman who maintains the grounds. Unfortunately, with only two people to maintain this giant 172-unit building, a LOT of things get missed. Trash rooms regularly overflow and on the weekends. Dog poop in ...
the halls goes uncleaned. Spills in the elevators begin to reek. Trash cans in the square overflow and reek of pet waste. It's a disaster. But you're more likely to find those two wonderful people diligently working than you are to ever find the property managers themselves. If you ever need to get a hold of someone in the on-site office, you better plan several days in advance. Go ahead, call them right now. You'll be directed to the Property Management office in New York and they'll tell you you called the wrong number. They'll give you a new number and you'll talk to a new person, also in New York, who will commiserate with you about your inability to contact the leasing office. Good luck getting a hold of anyone ever. They also refuse to provide an email address. Apparently, they don't like giving their residents the opportunity to contact them. Perhaps you're fed up and have decided to drop by the office in person and just corner someone so that you can ask them simple questions. That's a shame, because there's probably no one there and you'll just waste your time looking! Better try calling the New York office again. I've rented all over Oregon and Washington for the past decade and I've never been so appalled by a property management company's inability to do their most basic duties. Apparently, they are finally hiring new maintenance and office staff. But the phones are still a huge issue.
