Decent Place

I haven't lived in many apartments, so ymmv with this review, but it has been a decent place as far as things go. It's very quiet aside from the occasional chaos of upset birds and midnight-loud-music neighbor. Most of the neighbors have been very nice.
It is a beautiful place. My particular apartment overlooks the lake, which makes the balcony a perfect place to read when it's sunny. The decorative stucco siding has been falling off in many places recently, especially with the storms. There was ...
a repair effort last year, but more has fallen off and the patches that were done weren't painted. Another effort probably needs to occur.
Rent increases about 3-6% most years. The new managing company added a fee this time around which would have raised mine by 10%. It's annoying that I even have to have a conversation about this, but local management Christy was helpful in handling that conversation and getting a reasonable result. All of the local management has been great, honestly.
Maintenance is okay, but inconsistent. It usually takes a couple of visits to really fix something, but it does get fixed. Timing is extremely variable; something can be fixed the next day, or two weeks later. I haven't had any major delays on anything urgent though. My understanding is that they're short staffed and hiring contractors to help out, which is probably part of the inconsistency. Everyone has been friendly though.
