I love my new home and society

5 year 1 bedroom resident, honest review
March 14, 2019Overall, I loved living there. I only left because I got a new job in a new state. 4-stars for reality. Complaints exist, problems happen, things aren't always super easy. That's life. This isn't the most high-class place in the universe. If you are looking for a home, and are willing to care for your home. This place is it. Cons: Leaky, old, metal framed windows (easily mitigated in the winter by window shrink wrap covers) These windows cause other problems. Mall traffic (Holidays can be ...frustrating) Not all apartments are modern/updated Contracted painters are careless. Middle Ground: Packages are cared for by the front office, so you need to plan for that. (personally, I'm really grateful for that, it just know some others get frustrated) The building is older and big. It'll sometimes have old and big problems. (part of reality) Small pool. Some residents are a pain. (They don't usually stay long) Radiative heat, and wall A/C. (Easy to plan for if you are willing) Pros: Great office staff. (Problematic staff doesn't stay long) Regularly cleaned common spaces. (Weekdays, so weekends can get a little messy from residents) Support staff is pretty fantastic (maintenance and cleaning are wonderful, even if they are a bit gruff) Updated modern apartments are a dream, while older apartments are functional (just not with the times as much) On-site storage (1 bedroom units have a deep storage closet, 2 beds are in the building elsewhere) Fast elevators (yes sometimes they break, but the office staff really presses on the elevator company to fix it when it does) Garage parking (rentable) Walking distance from pretty much anything you can dream of. Maintenance requests are followed up promptly, and the office staff has your back. A real sense of community with the neighbors if you want that, or anonymity if you don't. Almost never hear my neighbors. (Something has to be seriously wrong/loud for me to hear them) Price point. (I'm having a real struggle finding as nice of place in my new state at the same cost of living) Eventually, the place felt to me like a vertical suburban neighborhood, and my little apartment was my landscaping free house.Property Manager Responded

September 29, 2015In 1984 I lived in Victoria Plaza and then moved to New Hampshire for a job opportunity. After 15 years and 2 condos I moved back to North Olmsted, OH. My first call was to Victoria Plaza. I figured I would stay there for a year and then buy another condo. Well, that was 16 years ago and I am still there! Something about high rise living just gets to me. Some people call us "Cave Dwellers"! I have a 2 bedroom unit on the 10th floor overlooking a golf course and have a balcony to enjoy all but the ...winter months. The building amenities include a large swimming pool, fitness center, community room and resident lounge. You never have to go without a cold soft drink or snack because it's all there! Underground parking is available to protect your car from the elements in the Winter to the hot sun in the Summer. Maintenance service is quick, friendly and always done right. The office staff is always available to help and treats you like family. I have a saying, "Everybody knows everybody here and there's always a 'Good Morning, have a good day' whether in the elevator or just walking down the hall" I know people in the building who have lived here for as many as 30 years. I've watched little kids grow to be adults. I'm a single guy who doesn't like yard work or chores that take away from just living my life the way I choose. Perfect price for the perfect location
September 20, 2015I've lived here for a good part of my childhood, and now, on my own it was my first choice. The apartments are spacious and have concrete walls, I've not once heard any of my neighbors on any side of me. The management is actually nice! Some places seems like you're a bother when you need something, not here. The staff is helpful, anything you need, they are there for you. My refrigerator broke down and THAT DAY, not even an hour later, I got a replacement. The location is perfect! Everything is ...in walking distance, including the mall! If you have kids I have good news! The school district is amazing bus picks up in the front of the building and drops off at the same location. The schools are the top of the area. Great location
September 4, 2015My wife & I wanted to move to a new city with a better school system for our kids but were not ready to buy yet. Victoria Plaza Apartments has given us that option. It is located within a 5 minute drive of some of the best rated schools. It is in a great location with all the shopping & restaurants you'll ever need just across the street. Amenities also include a gym, pool, & laundry facility. We are located right along a major highway which is easily accessible within 2 minutes.
