Renters Reviews and Ratings
Bad place to live
November 28, 2025Let’s start with the parking situation. Parking: The parking area is extremely small. Every time you open your car door, you must be careful to avoid hitting the vehicle next to you. If your assigned parking spot is in the alley, be cautious—some residents from neighboring apartment buildings often park in spots that are not theirs or completely block the alley, making it difficult to get in or out. The alley also feels unsafe, with frequent activity involving smoking, drinking, or marijuana use ...at unpredictable hours. Atmosphere: Most of the residents have been very friendly, respectful, and pleasant. Unfortunately, the building manager, who also lives on-site, is the exception. Residents have noted that he rarely acknowledges greetings, does not return basic courtesies, and is often conducting loud construction work inside his unit, including banging or using heavy tools, even in the late evening, very early morning, or the middle of the night. This lack of consistency makes it difficult to anticipate quiet hours. Many residents feel their concerns go unheard, with maintenance issues and complaints rarely addressed. Management/HOA: Overall, poor experience. There have been prolonged issues, such as a fire alarm malfunction that sounded repeatedly for over a month, without resolution despite assurances that the HOA had been contacted. Multiple residents expressed ongoing frustration due to a perceived lack of involvement, responsiveness, or follow-up from both management and the HOA. Outdoor Area & Facilities: The building does not include a spacious or secure courtyard or safe play area, which may be challenging for families with young children. The alley at the back of the property is frequently used as a dumping area by surrounding units, where residents have encountered discarded mattresses, food waste, and trash. There have also been instances of individuals using the alley as a restroom, creating an unpleasant and unhygienic environment. Additional Note: If your unit faces the alley, be prepared for significant noise. Residents have repeatedly experienced loud music from alley neighbors late at night, very early in the morning, or in the middle of the night. There are also frequent disruptions involving car horns, yelling, arguments, and occasional fights. Many alley residents use their car horns excessively or shout to communicate with each other, sometimes escalating into conflict.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
