Our unit is beautiful, as are the others we looked at before moving in. The building itself isn't quiet, but you can rarely hear a peep from inside our place. The elevator has things carved into the doors, and the carpets in the elevator and hallways are covered in stains that I hope are animal urine. The hallways smell like either weed or rotting garbage depending on the day, and the apartment numbers are falling off or missing from some of the doors. Maintenance is very rarely onsite to ...
clean up spills that sit on the stairs for days on end. The one and only treadmill in the "fitness center" has been "broke" according to the sign that's been taped to it since we moved in months ago (a big draw for us was the ability to run indoors during inclement weather, that's never been an option.) Maintenance is very rarely onsite, so spills and other messes sit untouched for days on end. We're sometimes embarrassed to have friends over because first impressions can be so bad here.
