I wouldn’t recommend because there are too many normally restricted dog breeds including pit bulls, huskies and German Shepards. Management does not follow their own lease which lists restricted breeds not allowed on the property. People move in and don’t tell anyone they have one of these dogs to avoid a pet deposit and pet rent and know their dog is not allowed. Even if management is fully aware later, they don’t do anything about it. There have been times they have been running loose. Don’t ...

THEY NEVER ANSWER

I don’t understand how anyone is supposed to even apply for this place if no one ever answers the phone. How are they gonna answer 1 out of 15 calls stating there is an available unit. I try to apply online and it says no units available. I call back multiple times no answer. Terrible customer service, can’t even get information on the place.

I was trying to get info and availability on a new rental. Tried calling at least five times over the course of the day. No answer. Get a message saying their busy helping residents or showing units. No leasing office is that busy where they can't answer the phone the entire day. Hate to think of what it must be like living there and needing assistance. I even tried calling Weller Management to ask if the leasing office is open, they don't answer their phones either. Guessing they're screening ...

all their calls. Terrible! Definitely not a company I would want to sign a contract with.

Gone downhill

This was a great community to live in; repairs were done fairly quickly, landscaping and lawncare was weekly, community managers cared, and residents were informed with any changes via email and newsletters - even if pets were lost an email would go out. Now the new owners don't inform about any changes - even major ones, repairs are done haphazardly (which can pose a danger), homes have not be updated/renovated in years (A/C mold/damage/dust, plastic bathroom tubs chipping paint and painted ...

over with more patched up paint, outlets out in various rooms, homes getting flooded because of rain), and if you want your backyard grass cut now - you have to send them a text and let them know. If you forgot - too bad, you have to have your ankle long grass be cut next week. The worst is NO COMMUNICATION. They don't tell you anything at all about what's happening like the former owners did. The good: Location, pet-friendly (some people definitely have more than 2 pets per home - if you do, they won't bother you as long as you pay).

The office staff are very friendly always greeting you with a smile no matter how busy they are. The villas are built on the 70's so expect some wear and tear, otherwise no complaints. Maintenance is always greeting you with a smile and know what they are doing. Cons; Pest control can improve and the cost and control of water usage needs to be re-evaluated. We have been here for almost 4-5 years and we love it.

I've been here for almost 2 years now .these apartments are very old.they need to be renovated.for the 2 years I have been here water shutoff is a frequent thing it has been a very aggravating situation for me because I am a mother of 2 kids and it's very hard not having water even for 5 minutes let alone for an hour. And also toilets get clogged so often. And also there is a new manager that is very rude it wasn't too long when I called up the manager in regards to my kitchen being flooded ...

because it was raining outside and not knowing what to do she told me to clean it up and figure out what to do I called her because the bottom cabinets got wet and because there wood they're going to get damaged and she told me flat out with no concern what so ever for me to clean it up and figure it out on my own.thats definitely not professional management. And also my car was stolen the first year I lived her. I guess for the price I'm paying I expected way more then this.if I can give 0 stars I would.

My fiance and I moved to the Villas at Deer Park Apartments 5 months ago. I have never been happier. For a "starter" home for the 2 of us and our 2 dogs it is perfect. We have a nice and large fenced in backyard. When we moved here the backyard was nothing but dirt, but after we created out own little patio area, they came in and sodded the entire back yard. It is our own little haven now. Marie and Jordan in the main office know everyone by name and remember details. I just walk in and they know ...

exactly who I am and ask how everyone is, including the dogs. If anything needs to be repaired, maintenance comes within 24 hours, unlike my last apartment where I would be lucky if they came within 2 weeks. AND... you get an email confirmation when its done. The community phone app is also wonderful and keeps you up to date on all events going on in the apartment. We are very happy here and are planning on being here for at least a few years... at least until we are ready to buy a house.
