Disappointing
August 1, 2025My experience with Virtuoso Living in Huntsville has been disappointing and stressful, to the point where I truly regret signing my lease. Before moving in, I was very clear with management that I was on a fixed income and had a specific budget. I was reassured that my rent and fees would stay within that range. However, since moving in, I’ve been hit with excessive, unexplained, and even duplicate charges that have left me financially strained. They also do not offer employment discounts or ...move-in specials, which is surprising considering the pricing and the number of working professionals in this area. There are no benefits for long-term or loyal tenants, and the lack of support makes it feel more like a business transaction than a place to call home. To make things worse, parts of my unit were damaged upon move-in, which was not addressed prior to my arrival & still haven’t been addressed just documented. And when I submitted my first maintenance request, it took four days before anyone responded less than a month of being here. I eventually had to call my father to fix the issue because the delay was unacceptable and affecting my ability to live comfortably. I moved to Huntsville excited for a fresh start, but instead I’ve felt overwhelmed, unsupported, and financially trapped. I can't even enjoy this new chapter of my life because the cost and lack of service have made it so difficult. If I could go back, I would absolutely choose a different place to call home. This is not the experience I was promised nor expected . New management's lack of ability to fix issues with accessibility to their gym
February 2, 2024I have lived at their apartment complex since December 2020. It has been a great experience because of the available amenity that has been instrumental to my morning routine: their gym. Most mornings I have consistently woken up around 5 AM just to start my day by working out before the sun arrives and then go to work. Fast forward fall of 2023, the recent takeover of a new management has made residents' gym key fob inactive in the early mornings, which ruined my morning routine. On other ...occasions, I wasn't able to enter their gym during a three-day weekend because the key fob scanner wouldn't open up. I have expressed my displeasure to office representatives on multiple occasions, who responded to me in a positive, respectful manner that they have been notifying upper management to have the gym's accessibility resolved. Now it's February 2024 and the situation hasn't changed. I don't mean to tarnish the apartment's reputation nor to slander the representatives whom I communicated with, but am frustrated that I can't use a resource that should be available to residents 24/7. Of course, I do have a gym membership at a normal gym, which I do workout on a regular basis ONLY after my job. As someone who is in the military and marathon runner, I take physical fitness passionately. You won’t see your security deposit again
October 4, 2023The apartments themselves are nice. The management not so much. They changed ownership 3 times when I lived there over the span of a year and a half which is making it really hard to get my security deposit back. This is a trend for other former residents as well. They never answer their phones or return calls. I’d recommend living somewhere that will remain owned by the same people. August 12, 2021I didn't have an appointment and walked in. The staff was incredible and dropped what they needed to during our conversation. They answered all my questions, showed me many homes, and showed me the updates and new buildings that are coming soon.
