Long-time Resident
November 27, 2024Living at Waterford Place Apartments has been a frustrating experience. Communication with management is one of the biggest issues—getting assistance is a hassle, and when you do speak to staff, their responses are inconsistent, slow, and rarely helpful. It’s clear that organization and tenant support are not priorities. Despite being advertised as a gated community, the gates are almost always broken, providing little to no security. The pools are another letdown, as they seem to be closed for ...maintenance more often than they are open. The property itself is poorly maintained. Repairs take an excessive amount of time, and after storms, the grounds are often left in disarray for weeks without attention. Adding to the discomfort, the breezeways regularly smell like drugs, which creates an unpleasant and unsafe atmosphere. To top it all off, tenants are subjected to recurring fees with little to no explanation, and these charges don’t seem to result in any noticeable improvements around the community. It feels like the residents are being nickel-and-dimed while the quality of living continues to decline. I wouldn’t recommend Waterford Place Apartments unless significant changes are made to address these ongoing problems.Property Manager Responded

They do not care about what is in the lease
September 20, 2023DO NOT LIVE HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO SUFFER FINANCIALLY!! I lived here for 6.5 years, and it has gone downhill. When I left, they charged me 2 months’ rent despite giving them 60 days’ notice as stated in the lease multiple times. I tried to have this cleared up several times by email and phone, but I could not receive any kind of response and they just sent debt collectors for money I do not owe. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT WHAT IS IN THE LEASE. AGAIN, DO NOT LIVE HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO FINANCIALLY ...SUFFER!!Property Manager Responded

September 29, 2015Waterford Place Apartments provide a safe, clean, pleasant, and relatively luxurious lifestyle. The two pools are a nice place to soak up the Carolina sun, well into September. August 17, 2015This is a great apartment complex to live in. Coming from student living it is a huge step up and it is beautiful and quiet. It is very safe and a great place to live. The floor plans are spacious and I haven't had any bug problems which was a MAJOR issue at my previous apartments. The apartment looked like it was professionally cleaned when i moved in and the staff are nice and helpful. I absolutely love it here. It is one of the more expensive apartments in greenville but it is well worth the ...money.
