November 10, 2025The staff here is nothing but AWESOME! Housekeeping (Jenn) and Management (Jenny) always have gone above and beyond thier given duties.And the neighbors are very friendly as well. They have community parties often so we can get to know other tenants and just have a great time! Circle k is directly across the street which is a nice thing when u don’t have a car. Amazing Management!
July 18, 2025Full disclosure, I *never* leave reviews -- however, West Wood Village is the exception. I did not want their incredible care and service to go unnoticed! :) From the moment of my *first contact* with West Wood Village (Jenny), through the application process, moving in, and now being a resident for several months, I have been extraordinarily impressed with the staff here. They have worked with me every step of the way, and demonstrated nothing but kindness, professionalism, competency, and ...care. I'm sure that in our daily lives as humans, we've all experienced how customer support or management don't seem to care about the individual, or how companies seem to become more predatory by the day, and trying to "get away" with abusive behaviors against their own customer base. So, that's why when West Wood Village and the kind staff here has consistently gone ABOVE AND BEYOND in EVERY SINGLE WAY, I felt the need to express that and share it for others to see. This review isn't just about West Wood Village as a company "brick and mortar" entity, it's about the PEOPLE. "People" are what and who we all are at the end of the day, and a corporation is just a fictional legal entity, that is otherwise being run and managed by real people. And, the people that manage the day to day operations of this apartment complex, are kind, caring, attentive, genuine, and REAL. And boy, that feels like an absolute luxury in today's age! I'm sure many of you can relate to what I'm saying in that regard! While problems do absolutely arise, and while things do break, and other unwanted life occurrences occur, those are forces of nature that can't always be prevented; however, the manner and urgency and diligence that the staff exercises with handling those issues has been wildly impressive. They handle everything with urgency and stay on top of things immediately. I honestly can't ask for any more than that! I'll call out a few names here to honor them personally: Jenny, Billy, Ross, and even up the chain to their regional manager Rebecca -- the culture that they've fostered here, and the efficiency in which they manage things, is absolutely top-notch. Great Staff Easy to Communicate with
August 8, 2023So there was a change in staff hence which explains the bad reviews. From office staff, to the corporate staff to maintenance staff. All which are easy to reach if needed. There is always someone in the office now, if I have to call someone always answers or returns call back in a very timely matter. The complex is always clean and work orders are completed in a very timely manner. If I could not get the answer in the office, she was quick to reach out to supervisor and she reached out very ...fast. Love my apartment, yes they are older but you can see they are working on improvements.Property Manager Responded

July 19, 2023Remodeled apartments consist of improperly laid vinyl flooring, insects, improperly mounted appliances. Maintenance can take takes to respond for issues such as shattered windows that are single pane non tempered windows. There is actually no air conditioning but evaporation coolers that regularly do not function. Communal washers and dryers that also regularly do not function and tend to overcharge after you’ve already paid via an app. Paper thin walls. Imbalanced staircases leading to secondary ...floors. Dangerous neighborhood. Ridiculously overpriced for 700 square feet. Maintenance employees drunk during work. Just do not live at Westwood.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

Noisy Second Floor Apartment
August 2, 2022I've lived here for three years and will be moving in a couple of weeks because of swamp cooler noise. It's always been loud but has become a bit worse lately. I think the noise problem is primarily in second floor apartments, first floor seems fine. The management and maintenance people are nice and do their best, but the coolers need to be replaced.
