October 25, 2017Do NOT lease with Haverkamp. The management is absolutely ridiculous when it comes to maintenance requests and complaints. If they spent money on a building that wasn’t yours and then you have a problem with your apartment, they’ll tell you they’ve spent too much money somewhere else and you’re out of luck. My apartment had flooded before I moved in, and we were told everything with water damage had been replaced, and we didn’t realize this was a lie until we started living there. The windows are ...absolutely trash, the building is very old and they won’t do anything about it. When we complained about the rotting windows, they said “that’s just how old buildings are.” This means that they won’t do any improvements and will just wait until the building collapses. We thought we were getting a deal with the rent and the good location, but it is absolutely not worth the living conditions. I don’t know how the buildings are in their other locations, but the management is something not to get involved with. They contradict themselves and blame everything on the maintenance staff, as if they have no control. Do not lease with Haverkamp.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
