Lived here for a year
March 27, 2024For the price I am very happy with Whispering pines apartments. I moved into a fully renovated apartment, I haven't had to get ahold of maintenance the entire year. Whenever i reached out to the Property manager Lindsey she was always very responsive and helpful. The reviews on this place is why i choose Whispering Pines. I am happy with my choice. The property is clean and well maintained, the maintenance crew here are very personable and attentive just from what I observed. Good until
March 16, 2020This apartment place was okay for 5 years, despite the windows being drafty, running your electricity bill up, it was okay. Out of nowhere I received a notice to not continue my lease at all. It was for no reason but they weren’t offering the month to month lease any longer. I was caught off guard completely but after talking to management (Lindsey) she assured me I wasn’t being evicted, management just didn’t wish to continue my lease. I vacated the premises August 17th after giving them my ...notice 30 days prior before turning in my keys and went downhill from there. 3 months later I get the run around about receiving my security deposit receiving attitude from the manager the entire process. After receiving my check, I go forward with looking for a new apartment and after everything else goes through they tell me I’m denied because of my previous apartment residence. I paid my rent on time, rarely had company, vacationed often so I was in and out being a good tenant overall. Not perfect but good, only for them to put an evictions on my name when that’s incorrect. Now trying to contact management via phone and text, I get no response. Basically, move in at your own risk, good thing I kept documentation of everything because they’re surely going to have to explain this to me because it doesn’t add it. Great place to live
August 29, 2018I live here for two and half years and loved it. Lindsey, resident mgr is awesome, she is warm, friendly and listens to my needs/concerns. Maintenance is quick to respond. At the first snowflake fall the crew is clearing the sidewalks and roads to give safe passage to my car. Onsite laundry is clean, wash $1 dry $1. I highly recommend Whispering Pines to anyone. Safe and friendly place to live. I moved back to Florida. Michigan winters are not for me!!!Review from Apartments.com
