The apartments are run down and smell of marijuana all day and night. You would not feel safe here with all the drug use and break ins. If you value your safety do not rent here.

I wish I could convey how much drug use is happening in these apartments. It’s stomach-turning. The marijuana smell seeps under our door all day, every day.
In the last 24 hours:
-our neighbor across the hall got high at 2pm on a Tuesday. Weed smell rampant in OUR apartment.
-a different neighbor exited his car with a 3 foot neon bong and openly carried it into the building.
-more weed smell billowing into our apartment in the evening (this is every single night. No exceptions)
-woken up at ...
3:05am due to bass being blasted. Still going 30 minutes later, no sign of stopping.
Also: frequent problems with teenagers loitering in the stairwell directly outside our apartment, cigarette smoke coming under our door AND through the vents in our bathroom so that our bedroom is so saturated it makes me nauseous, multiple piles of dog waste directly outside the building door due to neighbors who stand in the doorway and let their dog eliminate right outside because it’s too cold, and hall entryway is run down and drab (peeling olive paint, flickering lights, holes in the wall).
But wait, there’s more. Have heard screaming that sounded like domestic violence, have been harassed by small children (one of them threw a ball at me the day after we moved in), and (filthy) laundry room constantly has clothes abandoned for hours in the dryers. Complex is adjacent to a dealership so you hear car alarms beeping every 20 seconds, and the Nabisco factory where every few days they make some horrifying savory product that produces a sickening smell for hours.
I’m too embarrassed to host friends here as they must walk through the ever-present clouds of marijuana to enter. If you have children, this is not an appropriate place for them. The rent is ludicrous (and electric bills are over 200/month). We are counting down the days until we move.

I have been living at Whisperings Trails for 11months just short of a year and I have enjoyed my 2br 2ba apt here. Management is very accommodating to your concerns and works to keep the building and grounds well kept. I have enjoyed my rental here and have signed my lease for another year.
