March 31, 2021I have lived here for 3+ years now. I have only stayed because I hate moving. There are roaches and trash everywhere. They took dumpsters away so there is trash completely surrounding the dumpsters. The management changes all the time. This new management is awful. They do not respond to emails or phone calls. I have had issues and they have yet to fix it. During the Summer, the pools are constantly locked because they either forgot to unlock it or they lost the key. People do not pick up ...after their dogs. There aren't many sidewalks so be careful where you step. Good luck if you have children. The "gym" usually doesn't have machines that work. They'll keep it locked so they can use it for their own storage. These apartments are small and expensive. Each year they'll increase the price. June 7, 2017The town homes here are very nice. The staff is very helpful and quick to respond to any questions, concerns or needs. The management knows how to treat people with kindness. The school district is one of the best around. This is a safe neighborhood. A lot of local police officers live onsite. I never have to worry about my vehicle being vandalized or stolen and I can walk my dog all hours of the night without fear. Closer to everything.
September 9, 2015Whispering Winds is close to almost everything you could need. The apartment itself is an older complex with both apartment homes and town homes. The complex does feel a bit dated, but for the most part feels like a home. As with every managed property there are some downfalls. With it being an older complex, the buildings are not well insulated. My closet on the outside wall can reach 80 degrees plus in the summers with the AC on. If you live on the ground floor units you best hope that ...you have quiet neighbors. Both pools need some work. I'd recommend a pair of water shoes as the floor of the pool has some sharp edges. Even with the downsides it was a good place to live. Their maintenance guy Shaun is the best. If he comes to fix your issues, you can be assured it will be done right the first time. The only real issue that is not making me happy right now is the fact that we are getting ready to move out of state, and today i received a notice that they did not have our renters insurance info on file and that if we don't provide it by Friday then we will be charged a fee. My problem is that I turn in the keys Saturday. They would not waiver on the fee. You would hope management would be able to look at the available info and make a logical decision. August 18, 2015I love my apartment at Whispering Winds. I am safe in my home. If I ever have a problem at my place, all I have to do is call the office and the problem us solved by the next day. August 13, 2015The apartment is warm and inviting; it already feels like home, after only a few days. The buildings look like homes, nestled together in a quiet neighborhood all their own. And yet there is a large metropolis just past the end of the driveway, filled with all the convenience you would expect of a big city, but without the constant hustle and bustle.
