DONOT come to these apartments
May 23, 2024I lived in these apartments for 10 years an in 2 different units the second one I lived in the porch floods every time it rains they don't clean out the gutters so the water runs down the wall causing mold an mildew and they refuse to fix the problem. we were constantly sick because of mold exposure and all they do is paint over it!!! they r lazy and expensive and expect ppl to live in squalor. go anywhere else but here!!!Property Manager Responded

So bad
July 23, 2018Willow Cove Apartments 9300 S Redwood Rd, West Jordan, UT 84088 Apartment Complex Katie Colegrove 21 points 3 minutes ago Update: After telling the management office about all issues I’ve been experiencing, maintenance has been by once and they were in my apartment for 5 minutes maximum. I have a home security camera and just happened to be on my break and watched them. They turned on the sink a few times said they hear nothing and I’m crazy and left. The issue is most likely the shower or ...washer from my upstairs neighbor, it sounds like it’s raining inside. I constantly have to deal with children screaming non-stop outside of my window at all hours (mainly because the parents are not in sight), my upstairs neighbors have an infant child, large dog who howls all day non-stop and when they do get home it’s constant STOMPING for atleast 2 hours. Anytime I call the office they unapologetically dismiss me say they’ll “give them a call” and absolutely nothing happens. Typically they just hope they can run out the clock to go home before I call back to see what’s going on. Kelton is the ONLY ONE who actually listens to any concerns or questions. He seems to truly enjoy his job, remember residents names, while every one else (including the management staff) just seems to be annoyed with your presence and will dismiss you as quickly as possible regardless of how serious your issue is. On top of this, they contiously jack up the price of your rent anytime your lease is up. They also give you your renewal/notice to vacate if you don’t renew about 3 days before IF YOU’RE LUCKY. Technically (and in their contract) they are supposed to give you this 30 days prior, but don’t try to fight it because last time I did they threatened to evict me because I didn’t know they wanted to up my rent $80/month and left a paper on my door the day before my lease was up. Basically, stay on top of when your lease is up. Call them non stop to see if they are changing your rates if you want to renew. Don’t expect your neighbors to be remotely decent, and certainly don’t expect the leasing office to do anything. If you have an issue, you can either chance dealing with your sketchy neighbors who sit out in their cars at all hours, hot box their apartments, and scream at their children OR just deal with it because you’re locked into this lease. If you’re lucky you’ll get Kelton and something will get done.Property Manager Responded

they suck
May 11, 2017we lived there over 7 years and they charged us for stuff we called and told maintenance was broken and never worked. There is allot of gang activity i for sure didn't feel safe. the complex is just that it's easy to get lost. the only thing i miss about willow cove are the ducks and stray catsReview from Apartments.com
Worst experience ever
May 25, 2016DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! I always got different answers whenever I'd ask a question or go into the office. We were looking for a temporary place to live for a few months while we were in between houses and I made a poor, poor decision to live at Willow Cove. We were there barely 5 months, didn't even hang up a picture or unpack all or boxes since it was temporary and now they are charging us to repaint AND have the carpet replaced (which was new when we moved in). There was no damage to our apartment ...when we moved out, and it's absolutely not possible that the carpet had to be replaced when we moved. Every person I talked to that was there helping us moved out said the place looked like we just moved in. We paid for the entire month rent when we moved out, we moved out on the 12th of the month and it doesn't seem as if we are getting our money back for the rent we overpaid, or our pet deposit back. I've enjoyed living at Willow Cove for over 4yrs
April 13, 2016I keep renewing my lease every year because I love the area and the staff here is great. Willow Cove's maintenance team is quick to solve any issues and even has staff on call for after hours. The maintenance team works really hard to keep this complex updated and clean for comfortable living (i.e updated fencing, roofing, painting in stairwells and on the doors ect...) Also, I do a lot of online shopping and when my packages are too big to fit in the mail boxes my mail is taken to Willow Coves ...office where they have room to keep it safe til I can come pick it up maybe days later. Even though I have over an hour work/school commute I choose to continue living at Willow Cove because I know I will get comfortable and safe living for reasonable rent price. I was not payed to do this review I did it because I actually care about this place and felt they deserved an honest and fair review.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

September 28, 2015Most reviews online for this complex are split between a gap 5 years ago. Recent reviews show only flying colors and rightly so. We have always felt safe in the apartment and complex. Parking is great! The apartments are big for the rent, compared to the SLC area. The common areas are well maintained.Review from Apartments.com
A Place You Can Call Home
September 18, 2015My son and I have lived here for over five years and can't imagine moving. This community has three playgrounds, exercise room, large pool, club house, and allows pets. The leasing staff are great to work with and the maintenance staff is second to none.Review from Apartments.com

Looks good on the outside
September 8, 2015This place may seem like a pretty decent place to be, but to me it seems like they make it all nice like it has great curb appeal but really its very unkept, and only do the absolute bare minimum of everything. Good example may be the flowers on the street and office look spectacular, but the gym is filthy and rundown.Review from Apartments.com

August 28, 2015This apartment complex is close to the freeway, shopping, grocery stores, etc. The office staff and maintenance crew are very friendly. The only downside is the building I am in was built in the 80's and needs some major updating -- at least the apartment I am in is.Review from Apartments.com
