Unacceptable Treatment of Residents by Property and Development Management

I have lived in the complex for almost a year now and have no regrets. Yes, I agree with other reviews regarding parking. It can be an issue if you don’t come home until after 7PM. There have been a couple times I’ve had to park rather far. The complex itself is kept up with well and a lot of the residents I’ve met have been there for years. I’ve never had any issues requiring maintenance and the staff has always been pleasant and helpful. The pool is great during the summer and not overly ...
crowded. There are people who do not pick up after their pets or allow them to be off the leash in common areas, but you’re going to have those kind of people at any apartment complex. I have 2 medium-large dogs and the dog park has been wonderful. It’s huge! The dog owners are pretty respectful of each other and their dog’s space. I’ve never had any issues with any neighbors and have always felt very safe living here. I love the location and the apartments are reasonably priced. I would recommend them.

For being "luxury" apartments, you'd expect these to be nice, but don't let the pictures fool you - German Cockroaches everywhere (breezeways & indoors) and poor craftsmanship throughout the apartments (everything breaks). My building in particular had severe foundation issues. Every time the weather changes, expect your doors to stick - the building shifts and sometimes it's almost impossible to open/close & lock entry-way doors. If you report it to them, they send their maintenance man to ...
temporarily fix the problem, by taking a 2"x4" and a hammer and hitting it a few times. The office staff can't answer any questions or concerns that you have (ever), so good luck even if you have the most basic question - it helped me to keep in mind that they are operating on a very elementary level. There isn't enough parking in the complex, so if you get home at 6pm or after, I hope you enjoy walking long distances to get to your apartment. If you pay for covered parking, you'd think that this would resolve the issue, but this is not the case. People will park in your paid spot & towing isn't enforced. If you contact the towing company, they'll let you know that they have to have approval from the property manager, Jill, before they'll do anything. A lot of crime & theft reported on the complex grounds - you'll see cops there almost weekly. They don't follow guidelines on large dog breeds allowed to live on the property & also don't enforce that people pickup after their dogs either - so check your feet if you walk in the grass. I could go on and on, but I'll end this one here: don't waste your time and money here. Absolute garbage.

If management was notified of any pest issue you were experiencing they would have been happy to address it, by having the extermination company treat your home. We apologize if an unauthorized individual parked in a reserved spot. The sanctioned towing company, patrols the community and follows strict rules in regards to towing vehicles, Willow Creek is pet friendly and accepts dogs up to 75 lbs. There are policies and guidelines for pet owners, and agree it can be very frustrating when people are not responsible for their pet. We apologize for the inconvenience. My daughter and a good friend of mine live here. The pool is amazing and I have met the staff a handful of times while at the pool and they have always been very friendly. I love the bar b q area that is at the pool also. Her apartment is so nice and cozy and the office was very speedy in getting her a maintenance worker when her washing machine was giving her trouble. I am so glad that my daughter has found such a safe and beautiful place to live.

We even give a 3 day grace period to pay your rent and offer online payments if you can't make it into the office. Sad to watch the down hill slide

This place has gone down hill fast. The up keep on the grounds are terrible and the pool is full of mold and is filthy. The out side presence is getting real bad as it needs painted such as apartment doors , fire doors, trim. Railings, and all the curbs. Plants and shrubs die and never get repacked we have to look at soker hoses due to no mulch. When it rains the dirt is all over our walk ways to get in to our place and we have to sweep and scrape it of as no one else does it. Lights out for ...
weeks or months at a time before the are fixed plus a blinking light for one month now in one of the hall ways not fixed yet. Gates always a problem not closed and any one can come in when ever so much traffic and parking then is a problem. Pool lights out again and fountain has been on the blink for at least six weeks now all is done to fix it they seem to put a bandaids on it but never get to the real sources. The property needs to be walk frequently to see all the problems we should not have to tell them all this stuff if the were on their game. Patios are discussing with trash, dog poop and what ever else.we have rules why are the not followed or enforced. Parties at the pool with family and friends of about 30 or more and no room for residents. Frustrating

When I first wrote my review we were 4 months into my stay and I gave it a 5 star.. Now 2 years later... I'm changing everything. On the outside, these apartments seem awesome. The pool is nice, fitness center, business and dog park. The interior of the apartments are pretty but that's it. Nothing as nice as the newer apartments being built. For the same price, you can go elsewhere for something beautiful. If you have kids, there is nothing for them to do besides swim. No playground. They have ...
a huge space for dogs.. but nothing for kids smh. Plus the city park is miles away. Jill is the current manager. She's fairly new and she appears to be nice but she also doesn't care too much about you or anything else besides standing outside and smoking plus talking on her cell phone all day. She comes off as disrespectful alot, probably just her personality. The maintenance guys Juan and Rob are pretty cool. The staff in the office is ALWAYS changing. Every few weeks to a month there are a new set of people. To me that's a hazard but whatever. There is absolutely no kind of communication between you and the office. If you have a package.. make sure to track it because the office IS NOT going to let you know it's there. People let their dogs poop all over the place and the office does nothing.

Hi there, we’re not sure what happened here. We have always gone above and beyond on our level of service for all of our residents and enjoy doing so! We are proud of our community and the amenities that we offer, constantly scheduling resident events like Movie at the Pool and having goodies in the clubhouse for everyone. All of our staff care a great deal about our residents, and a few staff members have changed over the past few years but we always hire great people and train accordingly. We have escorted kids off the school bus back to their apartments when a parent wasn’t able to and genuinely try give the best customer service possible to everyone. We have tried to contact you and your husband multiple times over various things, and we have even had staff members upset when they have been verbally abused and cussed at during conversations with you. We will continue to try and give you the best living experience that we can but do ask for mutual respect.

this was my first apartment, at first seemed great but then quickly went downhill, had no hot water the first four days they had to replace the hot water heater, also half the sockets didnt work and an electrician had to come out and get them to work, then the thing above the shower started leaking orange and staining the shower, then about 7 months in they replaced our counter tops and after a horrible process doing so, the counter tops which sat in crates in the back of the complex for months ...
which were infested with roaches and spiders, after installing the counter tops the bugs had no where to go but into everyones apartments, no matter how clean you are you get bugs which is not right, management at first was good and just like the place went downhill, I would not recommend this complex for anyone at all

Thanks for your feedback. We really appreciate you taking the time to leave your comments and wish we could have bettered your experience here. With new construction projects, there can sometimes be more issues with a brand new apartment than one would expect. We apologize for the rocky experience, but hope that our quick and diligent response to those issues helped ease the inconvenience. Unfortunately, most of the issues were warranty issues from construction that we had to work with the construction team to correct. Looking back through the work orders, we do see that they were completed very quickly, even getting an electrician and A/C technician out to get the sockets working and the leak in the shower corrected (caused by an issue in the A/C unit). The countertop replacement was a major project, as we had to replace the counters in all 228 apartments at the community. There was a manufacturer defect with the ones that were installed when built, where they weren’t properly sealed ...
and would be stained and discolored in no time. We choose to ensure our residents had properly sealed granite instead. It does take a lot of time to complete the replacement process in that many apartments and we apologize for the inconvenience of that. As for the comment on bugs, we had pest control come on schedule to the community and only show 2 pest control requests from any apartment during the time frame. Before you moved out, we did discuss you transferring to a larger apartment at the community and were sad to see you go after you put in your notice. We wish you all the best and if there is anything we can do or would like to discuss this further, just give us a call!

Moved in here in June, my son and I absolutely love it. Jill and Ashley in the leasing office are super friendly and helpful! Jill was the first person I spoke to her easy going personality and her willingness to help was the main reason I chose to live here. Neighbors are super friendly and the amenities are amazing! Overall the property is very clean and the apartments are beautiful
