Initiated as a farmland community, Tomball truly came into its own with the addition of a train stop depot in the early 1900s. Running cargo to Galveston and beyond, this charming city quickly continued to snowball its growth with the addition of oil and gas industries into the 1930s. Melding a close proximity to Houston while still maintaining a distinctly Texan way of country life, Tomball continues to remain a hot draw for residents to this very day.
