Grateful but needs improvement.
September 1, 2024Let’s take it back to the beginning. Administration was quick and easy they were able to tour some of the models right there and then which was wonderful HOWEVER. When it came to the move in, it was not a smooth process at all. They called us the day before/ of to tell us that our apartment was not ready, that it was dirty and that we needed to wait at least 2-3 more days IF we wanted housekeeping to neat it up for us. Which we OBVIOUSLY said yes to, because why in the world are we going to agree ...to being welcomed into our new home with a dirty apartment. On the lease they expect you to leave the apartment spotless, so we expected nothing less from management. And THANKFULLY we didn’t hire movers because imagine how much that would’ve sucked. But it was still a major inconvenience because all of our belongings were packed and ready to go. Finally, moving day came and the moment we stepped into the apartment we were greeted with an apartment with the climate of a tropical island there was construction debris in our laundry room and cabinet drawers. The floors had white dust EVERYWHERE. So not only did they make us wait to move in to have the apartment “cleaned” they didn’t even clean properly. So obviously that was a HUGE BUMMER. Oh and that’s a whole other thing as well, PLS if you decide to move here TAKE pictures of everything the day you move in. There were a lot of damages to the floor, cracks in the shower tiles (which we also called maintenance for because we were worried water would get through there and make mold but they basically said that it wasn’t a maintenance problem it was more of a contractor problem) Moving on, to when we finally settled in. OMG… the amount of spiders… inside of our apartment and out in the balcony. It was absolutely insane. We even found a black widow spider in our balcony that stopped us from using it all together. Oh and not only spiders, there was also crickets, roaches, AND ants INSIDE the apartment. How? Where did they even come in from? We contacted maintenance about it and asked if they do pest control and they said that they do so every week. Which is questionable because why are we still seeing so many pests. The trash dumpsters are placed in such inconvenient spots the amount of times I’ve seen people and vehicles almost get hit by incoming traffic. It’s placed in such a way that it blocks visibility for drivers and pedestrians. And they also don’t get as much maintenance as they should. I think the trashProperty Manager Responded
