Noisiest property ever.

Given the properties poor sound proofing and outdated amenities, the AC units also make loud noise worsening the living quality. This property ranks among the least peaceful residential areas I've ever encountered. Cost me my job

I bet if the property manager couldn't shower or wear all of that make-up, I bet things would get done sooner. I keep missing work because I cannot shower. The hot water is ALWAYS off or there's an issue with the water. I'm totally fed up with the treatment or lack there of. I have to call several times when it comes to service being done. not built to conform to weather
February 2, 2023 - Review from Apartments.comNorth Texas can get cold, and does get cold a few days of the year. The property is not built to stand the cold, pipes burst, there are many buildings without water during winter and, management requests tenants to have in their rental insurance to cover WIndhaven property for bursted pipes, when THAT is their responsibility. Ice is not taken out of stairs and there is little support on having enough salt. During the summer, management argues that the AC is able to stand a 20F difference in ...temperature, that is, if outside is 100F, inside temperature should be 80F, which is not low. The problem comes when the temperature goes to 110F, which is not uncommon for Plano. Insulation is poor so you may expect to pay north of $300 dollars per month during summer months in electricity bill. Terrible Communication and Customer Service
June 28, 2018 - Review from Apartments.comTo say I am disappointed with our experience with the team at Windhaven Park in Plano, TX is an understatement. We submitted an application 06/18/2018 for a move in ready unit for a move in date of 06/29/18. As of today, the complex has had 9 business days, 10 including the Saturday they were open, to work up our application, however has failed to do so. With prior experience, the application to lease turn over has taken 3-4 days, therefore we scheduled childcare and a trailer for moving this ...upcoming weekend, which now have to be canceled. The entire experience has been handled unprofessionally. I do understand the size of the property and the MANY factors that are at work behind the scene on site, however that does not excuse poor customer service, speaking to potential residents in a rude derogatory way and disregarding their inquiries. UPDATE: As I wrote the review, we were informed of a denial for the apartment, not by the property manager, assistant manager or even leasing manager, but by the leasing agent. Not once was our request to speak to the Property Manager acknowledged nor was our request to use a guarantor considered or discussed even though we had one lined up who made 5x the monthly rent, which is what the Leasing Agent stated it would take. We have leased for the past 6 years and this is by far my worst experience to date.Read More

June 19, 2018 - Review from Apartments.comAlthough I would like to share more information over the apartments I am afraid of retaliation. I can only list my experience vaguely. I have lived here for a few months and it's been unfortunate that I have not had the experience other reviewers seem to have had. I will advise if you are looking into the apartments please record all conversations. Write down everything they say. I was promised a lot of basic things when I moved in and I was told I either didn't ask for them or changed my ...mind. I asked a lot of questions and even basic ones could not be answered. When I made the decision to finally sign the lease I saw they pressure people into writing good reviews (So I would take some with a grain of salt). Several times while I was in the waiting area I saw staff members be rude to the tenants over missing packages. They have yelled and shamed people in front of me. I have regrets about not sticking up for the people there. I email questions to the apartments because I work all the days they are open and they do not respond. I am continuously ignored. Maintenance doesn't seem to care if you have clothes on before they barge in and as a woman I was infuriated at them not waiting at the door until I allowed them. The only contact I seem to have is if they have something negative to say and if you speak with them politely it's condescending and they still do not follow through on what they say they are going to do. I have also not been billed correctly my duration of the stay here. If you do decide to live here, please watch your children carefully. There are not designated sidewalks and several times I have seen cars almost hit kids because the apartment does not have safe crosswalk areas like most modern ones. This apartment is also not disability friendly. If you have mobile issues I would look elsewhere. The apartments are dirty and have bugs (although I have found that in most apartments I've lived in have the occasional bug) this is higher than average. Although there are no bed bugs. Overall, Record all conversations. Hold them accountable for their actions and decisions they make. This has been a disappointing experience. I hope to leave soon.Read More
