RUN 2017/2018
June 10, 2018Long review, but all you need is the 1st paragraph! My lease here is about to end and I'm so glad. I do not recommend anyone move here. If it's your last option, go somewhere else. The complex is disgusting. Trash, glass, dog poop, cat urine, months old vomit in hallways and horrible landscaping(lack of). The laundry mats are awful. About half the washers don't work. And same for the dryers. And I suggest you don't leave clothes unattended, because they will be stolen. The gate at the front is ...a joke. They let anyone in and sometimes the gate is just left open. My apt has water damage, roaches and mice. No matter how clean and how often pest control comes(only every Tuesday per request) it never ends. The people in the office are friendly. The manager is very helpful and seems to want to really help the complex. But there is so much. Maintenance will come somewhat readily. But when the need to fix anything, they don't actually fix the problem. They just fix the problem temporarily. I've had my air conditioner breaks several times.(manager was very helpful) Shower going between scalding and freezing cold. Cabinets fall off. Drawers that come off track. Doors that break at the hinges. All these problems calling maintenance several times to actually address the issue and not put a band aid on it. On TOP of all this. There are frequent gunshots heard. Loud yelling, music, fireworks even and obvious drug dealing. There was even an attempted kidnapping(not sure of details but we received a letter from apts). There used to be homeless people that would wonder up into the apartments but we now have cops and security guards every so often. Happy Apartment Hunting! I'm doing the same! UPDATE. Ac broke AGAIN and now the water is coming out brown in my sinks...Property Manager Responded

Excellence
March 4, 2018I moved in in June 2016. The staff are the best. They go above and beyond my expectations. The gym is great, I've really been able to get in shape using it. The property is well maintained. The apartments are quiet. Great neighborhood to live in.Review from Apartments.com

January 2, 2018- I have lived in these apartments for a year because the contract obligates me and I do not want anyone else to commit the same mistake. I just do not recommend it. The administration is terrible, the girls treat you well when you go to rent but once the contract is done, there is no kind of consideration for the client. They laugh at you when leaving the office, when you are going to make a claim (the manager supports them). the electric light goes away for days without having an answer, with ...the water the same happens (I do not exaggerate about that). Your packages are lost once you leave the mail in the office and no one is responsible and they charge you for services that are not provided or that they provide poorly. Worst mistake

September 28, 2015I just moved in on 8/1/15, the apartment is very large with upgraded amenities. Only a few minutes away from Galleria Mall, 610 Highway and Beltway so it's a very good location. Very easy to find food at night, lot's of restaurants and clubs in the area too. This apartments has 5 swimming pools, 24 hours gym and business center. Security guard always stand by at the entry gate and very specious parking area with 3 parking deck. It a perfect place to live if you work in the Galleria Area. Not bad for price
September 15, 2015I've lived at Palms on Westheimer for about 3 months now and I'm fairly pleased. I have a 2 bed 1 bath, without washer dryer connections. The new management is currently renovating and the looks of the place are improving. The rent includes pest control so I have not had problems with any bugs since we've moved in. There is a laundry room with several machines and it's usually not a problem to get things washed on the weekend. Management usually solves our problems pretty quickly. The outside ...community isn't beautiful, but the apartments inside are pretty nice. For what we pay for rent, which are great prices, I am happy to live here.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

August 8, 2015Oldish Apartment Buildings. a little run down and do more patchwork then fixing. Great location. Had a roach problem when I moved in. I dont think their pest control is as effective as it should be. Parking a little crazy. Recently had a new Management company take over and cant say much about them yet. Its an okay place to live.
