June 29, 2025I had to move out 2024 due to a bad roach infestation I lived there for 6 yrs and never saw a roach until a new neighbor moved in, they said they would spray every 2 weeks but that was a huge lie I had to throw all my furniture away, along with a lot of other belongings ....the office responds quick but some of the office members had disgusting attitudesProperty Manager Responded

Garbage apartments
August 22, 2018Too much hoodlums in area people constantly looking in the garden floor windows and big spiders coming into the apartment neighbors are crackheads that conspire with each other to break into Apartments I would not recommend anybody to rent these apartments plus they are charging a ridiculous fee for carpet that hoodlums could have broken and messed up themselves just a poor areaReview from Apartments.com

September 26, 2017My boyfriend and I have been living at Wingate for almost a year now, and it is very affordable. We will renew our lease soon for another year. The maintenance is fast and convenient, and we have had no issues. The only thing that I do not enjoy would be the summers. There is no central air, and the unit does not circulate throughout the entire apartment. However, the staff is very friendly, and has always provided me with great customer service. September 24, 2017After reading so many negative reviews, I was very hesitant of moving into this complex with my boyfriend, but after living here for almost a month, I have nothing but positive things to say about Wingate... The staff is awesome, nobody treats you like crap like what some of these reviews say. Kathy who works at the office helped us out a tremendous amount & answered all of our questions without hesitation. The amount of rent you pay monthly is very affordable for where you’re living. Our ...neighbors are quiet!!! There hasn’t been any noise complaints or annoyance whatsoever so far & I don’t believe there will be. Extremely horrible
August 28, 2017You get what you pay for. The property is not kept up on. I had a new born baby and mold was growing around the window. I was told to keep my window open and the heat dial on 3 to prevent it from happening. Mind you! My house was always kept clean. They had a person come out to inspect it but did nothing about it for a year. Absolutely unsafe to a newborn. All they would do was wipe it with bleach and repaint it .. so not only did u have the mold smell but you had the bleach smell and you had the ...paint smell. I plan to sue them !? Everything is your problem
March 2, 2016I live in here for over a year the first year was fine then all of a sudden I started seeing roaches and other types if bugs advised the office of what I seen they tried to blame it on me. I was upset because I've never had any type of bugs and any place I've lived in I used to live with my mom who is a clean freak so I know it's not my issue and when u move out they tryvand give u bad tenant history don't move here u get whatvu pay for just sayingReview from Apartments.com

July 27, 2015The Wingate Apartments are great if you don't make that much money. The maintenance here is the best I've ever had. They have a nice outdoor pool that is quite refreshing. Close Enough
July 25, 2015I'm reviewing the north complex area of my apartment residence. I live in the south complex but all the apartments are similar. Except for a few people who break the rules and get by with it, this is a great place to live. I did have one guy in the apartment below me who had a temper. When I called maintenance to complain about his still being noisy at 4 AM, he came up the stairs and kicked my door very loudly before leaving. That was awhile ago and he has since moved out. A Great Place Depends on Neighbors
July 22, 2015Wingate apartments is the best place to rent in my area for the price range. Maintenance is quick to solve your apartment problems and the grounds are kept consistently mowed. This is a fairly quiet area except for a few traffic sounds. You would never know you were living close to a busy street and shopping centers. I'm fortunate to have an apartment on one side of the complex nearest to some beautiful shady trees. I have no complaints about my apartment or surrounding area. My only ...dissatisfaction has been noisy neighbors a couple of times since moving here over seven years ago.
