Living at Yorktown Estates
July 21, 2017We moved into Yorktown Estate Apartments in April of 2017 and thoroughly enjoy all the amenities and overall quality of our unit. Here is our top 10 list of what we believe is the best of Yorktown Estate Apartments... 1) Very helpful and knowledgeable staff; 2) Our unit was spotless and freshly painted when we moved in; 3) The grounds are clean and well-maintained; 4) The stainless steel kitchen appliances are in excellent condition and work well; 5) The underground parking is convenient and also ...accommodates our bicycles well; 6) The salt water pool is awesome and the annual pool party/pig roast was fun; 7) The "free" morning weekday breakfast buffet is tasty and they make it easy to drop-in on the way to work; 8) The units are close to multiple city bus lines which makes access to public transportation convenient; 9) The central building has a full business center, an exercise facility, a hot tub, a community room and a billiards table; and 10) And perhaps the best part is that we no longer have to mow grass, shovel snow, and do all the maintenance that we previously did when we owned a home.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

July 5, 2017I lived at Yorktown Estates for a year while going through a divorce and found it a pleasant place to live with a park-like setting. My two teenagers were with me half the time and they enjoyed the pool, as I did, in the summer and the hot tub during the winter, as well as the workout facilities. My dog also liked the grounds, where we walked daily. When there was a problem with my apartment, which was rare, the staff responded quickly. I made friends at the apartment complex at the ...complimentary breakfasts and still return there every other week or so to have coffee with my acquaintances. Great place to live
June 23, 2017I lived in Yorktown Estates for almost five years, moving apartments about halfway through to get more space. I was very impressed with the maintenance staff. They did seasonal routine maintenance, and were quick to respond when there were problems. The leasing staff was also great when I moved in, when I changed apartments, and when I moved out. Happiest at Yorktown Estates
June 20, 2017I never thought I'd live in an apartment complex again however, this isn't just and apartment complex it is home. The apartments are gorgeous and extremely livable. I walk in the door and I am at home! The staff is incredibly helpful and considerate of all living here! Everything is beautifuly maintained and the pool is crystal clear. A treat one would never expect is breakfast Monday through Friday! Fellow residents have become my friends, very warm and friendly. They even have parties: wine ...tasting, pool party, packer tailgating, St. Patties day, not to mention the soup cook-off. Everything is so professionally done I can't believe I live here! August 15, 2015The homes here are comfortable, quiet and worth the rent. These apartments come with a staff and community that is very supportive. As an added bonus, the staff will respond to needs within the day if possible. The apartments are updated and the walls are thick, allowing for practically no noise from neighbors. The carpeting is something to be admired as well. It is very plush and easy to clean. All of the units that we have lived in have some amount of sun getting in throughout the ...day. If you get central air, it works well and quick. In terms of additions, all add ons make that unit feel more luxerious. I especially like the jacuzzi tub. Parking spots underground are wide and convenient. However, sometimes, there is a shortage. You will get a spot in your building within the term of your lease if you want. Porches sometimes need updating and faulty fire alarms in the buildings are tormenting at times. The doors in the hallways slam loud and the corner units suffer because of this.
