I toured the property a couple months ago and there’s a bunch of notices from the city on the front of the leasing office which the agent refused to explain, the complex seems run-down, and they were very shady about not showing a unit in the size I was interested in. I would be cautious about this place.

Brandy has been so helpful since the very beginning. Moving is such a high stressful thing for me due to my crippling anxiety, and brandy was on top of it with all the paper work and helping us find the perfect apartment in our range and comfort. Extremely terrible complex with a careless management and very rude office employees! The galleria area is a nice neighborhood with many nice apartment complexes. If you have any other option other than Yorktown choose that! During my 12 months residence at Yorktown Apartments we experienced at least 8 tire thefts and one apartment break-in! I have been living at this complex since April 2021. The complex seemed nice at first but the charm wore off quickly. In October my motorcycle was stolen from one of the parking garages. I was able to determine a twenty minute window of when it happened as well as identifying the suspect, his accomplice, and his vehicle. So in my apartment I called a pest service and get one unit treated but roaches remain in other locations — so they can return to that already treated area. This place not even diserve a single star. All the good reviews you are seeing, either from the folks working in the office or from the management hired PR agencies. Roaches makes it very difficult for us. I have asked for help, and despite even getting a private pest control, this is out of control. The building that we live in is not safe with the Marijuana smell, and dogs bark in the hallway 24 hours a day. We have seen several suspicious people and even homeless people in and out of our building with no mask and always coughing.
