Atlanta apartment-ites are almost as varied as they city they live in, so when it comes dinner time and you're having to choose what kind of place to attend, it can get difficult to please everyone. Sure, you know you're in the mood for seafood, but do you want a leisurely meal of fish and chips or oysters, or want to enjoy a nice lobster with a refreshing glass of wine? Your problem of choosing between the upscale and casual is solved the moment you step into Oceanaire, one of Atlanta's top seafood places, which has decadent meals for those looking for some class, as well as old-fashioned traditional meals for those not in the mood for haute cuisine. It even has a nice bar and lounge for those not quite hungry, but still want to stop in for a sip or two. Anything you order at Oceanaire is sure to be as fresh as possible, and the moment you take your first bite, you'll think they pulled the fish fresh from the ocean and cooked it right then and there. Each day brings you a new fresh fish special, so any night of the week you'll find a different selection of fresh, never frozen seafood. They have a huge selection of shellfish at their oyster bar, from all around the nation, and the world, from Maine to California, from Washington to Nova Scotia, and even oysters fresh from New Zealand. They have dozens of appetizers to choose from, such as house-cured salmon, grilled calamari, tuna tartare and escargots Bourgogne, and they even offer a caviar service. They also have a fantastic clam chowder and a good selection of salads to go with your delicious meal. As far as entrees are concerned, the biggest draw is, of course, their delicious fresh fish. From tuna steaks straight from Alaska, to snapper straight from the Gulf of Mexico, to Mahi Mahi pulled from the waters of Costa Rica, Oceanaire only serves the best and most delicious fish in the world. They also serve a delicious Dover Sole, Marlin Steak, or Grilled Yellowfish, as well as a steaming fish stew with fish, clams, shrimp and mussels in a spicy tomato fume. Their star attraction for those willing to spend a little more money is their Live North Atlantic Lobster, from 1-1/4 to 6 pounds worth, depending on just how hungry you are. On the other side of the spectrum, for those hungry, but not quite willing to smack down so much dough, try their Fried Fisherman's Platter, complete with fried cod, oysters, scallops and shrimp, served with salt and vinegar fries. For a little something different, you can try something from their grill, including big, juicy steaks, chicken, or pork chops. No matter what you're in the mood for, Oceanaire is sure to have to something to entice your taste buds. They've given indecisive Atlantan apartment-ites a helping hand when it comes to picking their dinner spot, combining the casual with the upscale, while keeping it all fresh and delicious.
