Apartment living in Austin can be a blast with all the bars, pubs and dives around town, but one of the biggest questions on any time out in Austin is which restaurant is right for you. If you're a fan of authentic English feel, refreshing British brews and delicious grub, then the Dog and Duck pub is the place for a night out or a quick lunch. The Dog and Duck breathes comfort, from the solid wood floors, mahogany bar and comfy leather couches and booths, it's all bout making the customer feel as good as possible. For those of you looking to enjoy a breezy Austin night, then feel free to relax out on one of the pub's three different outside sitting areas, including a back patio and a lighted beer garden. For those looking for something to do while you drink, there's plenty of fun bar games to play, such as darts, pool and even golf, and a very well stocked jukebox. Ambiance is fine for some, but really makes a pub something special is the beer. They have a wide selection of beers on tap, from local picks such as Shiner Bock, Lone Star and Austin's own Live Oak brand of beers, to popular English beers such as Belhaven's, Guinness, and Newcastle, and even a good selection of Belgian and German beers.
