From the top of this famous hill, you can see for quite a distance. In the past, this was a common lookout spot for soldiers, especially during the war of 1812. It gives you a beautiful view of the city on one side, and the harbor on the other. It's always a fun place to bring kids, featuring plenty of safe, clean playgrounds with swings, slides and the works, so you'll always have a way to keep the kids entertained while you enjoy the scenic overlook. The park also has plenty of wide open spaces, so it's perfect for those looking to relax, and maybe even have a picnic overlooking the city skyline.
