Explore Boston
When living in Boston its just the right thing to do as the New Englanders do and get out of your apartments in Boston and eat some clam chowder. The best chowder in this northeastern US city can be found at Atlantic Fish, a restaurant in the business of serving seafood for over 30 years. The interior of the restaurant features a ship-like feel with detailed wood work and beautifully crafted sea murals. Only fresh fish is prepared, from chop swordfish to barbecue glazed salmon. Because of the uncertainty of which fish will be delivered each day, Atlantic Fish creates a new menu daily. Of course, some things can be counted on to be there, such as Maine Lobster, prepared baked and stuffed or in a yummy pot pie. Jumbo lump crab cake, tuna bolognese and smoked salmon pate can almost always be found on the menu. And the tasty signature raw bar is fun to sample and then enjoy a cocktail on the open air patio. The menu does feature additional entrees besides fish, such as beef and chicken and well-prepared veggies. Speaking of cocktails, the menu here is creative and fun, whether you enjoy vodka or rum. For the wine lovers, the expansive wine list provides it by the glass, the half bottle or the bottle so that more than one may be tasted when visiting the restaurant. The nine page menu features wines from the U.S., Australia, Italy, France, Spain and other European countries, probably a wider selection than you have at your apartment home. Sweet dessert selections include a signature chocolate cake, as well as newer items such as a delicious brulee cheesecake. Atlantic Fish is open for lunch and dinner daily, and offers a huge brunch menu on weekends from 11:30 am to 3 pm.
