Detroit apartment-ites are a hungry lot, always in search of the next great eatery, whether its morning, noon or night. Therefore to truly satisfy them, you have to have a place that delivers a little of everything. You can't just cook up some delicious dinner items and skimp on breakfast, or cook up a mean breakfast and let the dinner take care of itself. To satisfy Detroit-ites, you've got to cook up a mean meal any time of the day. Sweet Lorraine's Café does just that, cooking up great breakfasts, lunches and dinners for discerning tastes any time of day. Any time you may stop by, there's guaranteed to be something delicious waiting in the wings for you. If you stop in for breakfast, there are a number of different options for you. You can choose from one of Lorraine's delicious omelets, including the Cuban omelet with queso, jack, chorizo, bell peppers, salsa and onions, or the French country omelet with artichoke hearts, tomatoes, spinach, chevre cheese and asparagus, or even the Michigan farmers omelet, with Great Lakes cheddar, mushrooms, onions, potatoes and bell peppers. For some one with a bigger appetite, you can try the "All-American" Breakfast, with two eggs, potatoes or fried grits cakes and your choice of bacon, pork sausage, chicken-apple sausage, vegetarian sausage, or fruit, or the Breakfast at Tiffany's, with a Delmonico steak, crab cake, eggs, and potatoes with a buttermilk biscuit. This lists is just the tip of the iceberg, however, and there's any number of other options available for your perusal. If you're coming in for dinner, don't worry, you also have plenty of delicious options here, starting with appetizers, such as five spice calamari, house-made crab wontons, roasted red bell pepper hummus or the Cuban quesadilla, or try one of their many salad options. Main courses include Traverse City chicken and Gorgonzola pasta, Lorraine's special steak, pecan chicken, spicy New Orleans chicken and shrimp creole, or down home pot roast, as well as numerous entree salad, burger and sandwich options.
