January 14, 2026Glendale California is perfect for families with children and young people who love to go out. The city offers the best of nature, parks, and a bustling downtown city center. The area is mostly flat and great for walking and biking. The city is on average safer than Los Angeles and most of the neighborhoods offer a real small town feel. If you're looking to be sandwiched between Los Angeles, the east side, and the valley, you won't go wrong with Glendale, California!
